Super 8 by Wyndham Long Island City LGA Hotel

a dump a dump. photo of breakfast bar is false advertising. there was coffee and yoghurt. the room was clean, but the whole place needs a facelift. carpets torn and dirty. no room service on second day despite paying full price for two days. location ok. way too much money for the room. no value

Wrong advertisement Would not recommend this place for anyone, breakfast was black coffee no Creamer and cereal no milk, daily. Not even in prison so bad

Mediocre location Overpriced for just a bed & shower.. refrigerator did not work..Wi-Fi did not work..no elevator..had to walk up to second floor with my canes..no other room available

Horrible !!! To start, our family room reserved for 2 months was busy. Then we were made to understand that we were lucky that he could offer us 2 rooms without charging us extra. We therefore accepted but we were not happy to put the children in one room and the adults in the other, in addition to the fact that the room was not connected and even a corridor separated the two doors. rate cleanliness, how to explain, mold on the ceiling, bedspread with stains and food residue. There was yogurt in the curtains on the wall. Poor hygiene of the premises, we took all our precautions on return in case of bed fleas! Customer service, only one word comes to mind: pitiful. during our check-in the clerk told us to lower our expectations since the included lunch was: 1 yogurt and 1 granola bar per person. Which by the way was no longer available from 9am in the morning. We never enjoyed breakfast during our stay. Being a family of 5 we were thinking of saving but ultimately it cost us more. Finally, the clerks, housekeepers and other staff where we never discovered what it was used for or what their specific tasks were, I would ask them but why are you not pleasant with the tourist because it seems to me that it is a tourist establishment a super 8 hotel and even more than touristy is supposed to be a family place. So there you have it, I recommend it to anyone! Transforming this place for the wanderers will at least help you a little.

Family Stay at Long Island New York It was a quiet stay at the hotel. It is adequate for staying a few nights. The location is Good though not in central manhattan, it is close to many restaurants and shops, at a few minutes walking distance. The connection to NY downtown is just 10 minutes away (the nearest station is broadway for metro line W or N).
