No longer a great place to stay I have stayed in this hotel numerous times over the last 10 years. Never again. The staff was discourteous and unapologetic. The check in process each day literally took hours. 10 or more people waiting constantly. Valet staff were threatening to tow guest vehicles who were trying to check in. Rooms weren't being cleaned....I mean literally between guests checking in and out. Housekeeping was not cleaning. There was a towel shortage. Took 2 days for my room to get towels. Took 3 days to get an ice bucket, and that's after I spoke to the manager twice. Half the AC system didn't work in the common areas. The place is falling apart. Horribly state of affairs.

WHAT HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR MAINTENANCE Sometimes things don't go well, but you expect a response from the hotel. In my experience, this is THE FIRST TIME no one from IHG or the hotel responded to my complaints! Here's what happened. I stayed on a business trip on July 26 and was upgraded to what at first I thought was a lovely suite. I dropped off my bags, headed out to a dinner and got back late. The hotel has a guest services person who texts "How is everything" I responded: I stepped on an exposed carpet tack at the bathroom and my foot is bleeding, the light fixture above the sink is broken, the hall light for the closet doesn't work, and the sink was significantly backed up. When I woke, there was sewage in my bathtub and I couldn't shower. I called the front desk and they apologized and said they would give me some extra points for my inconvenience and remove the $50 parking fee. I did get the $50 removed, but no points. No response from the manager despite numerous calls. In fact if you try to call this hotel, NO ONE ANSWERS. I called IHG as I am Platinum Elite Member, and they said a supervisor would call me back. NO ONE CALLED. I will never stay at this hotel again. And am not reccomending it to anyone. I am posting now out of share frustration from the lack of response from ANYONE at the hotel or IHG.

Ugh- don’t do it! Gross! No toilet paper, sticky floor, dirty room, balcony door screwed shut, no outdoor areas for pets (pet friendly hotel), got ONE key and ONE breakfast voucher when I booked a room for 2…..and front desk staff seem bothered by guests.. not at all welcoming or friendly ….very expensive valet - valet is required unless you want to park a block away…. So disappointing for a Crowne Plaza… …

Awful The rooms are dirty, t.v. doesn't work, the furniture is old, worn and smelly. I was told there would be a fridge and microwave in my room. Nothing. Other people had little a/c (Atlanta in July is hot). This was a business trip and all of us moved to a different hotel in two days. The neighborhood is sketchy and there were no restaurants close by. This is a combo hotel with Staybridge. Those who stayed in the Staybridge were o.k., but the Crown Plaza was the pits.

Horrible experience I visited the crown Plaza Midtown in June with my sisters on vacation. It was the worst experience I ever had. My room smelled of strong mold and musty water odor. The front desk never answers the phone and when you go downstairs to ask them to bring up towels or a blanket they never bring it. The $75.00 deposit has still not been credited to my account when I was informed it would take 3-5 business days. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
