Hotel is average but the spa staff and massage were so awesome. My wife and I came here for a little overnighter to get a break from everything. We live about 45 minutes away. Like many of the hotels and restaurants in the Lenox area, everything is crammed together and you really have to watch your GPS to know where to turn. The hotel has an odd front entrance and parking isn't immediately obvious. (direction signage is small and partially hidden in bushes). Self Parking is $35 which is annoying because it's not even covered. We were late for a massage at the hotel spa (traffic and my fault), so they told us to go right to the spa before checking in. However you must have a room key card to access the elevator! So we had to get a hotel worker to activate the floor for us. That made us even more late. We were rushed and not relaxed. But as soon as we met Domya (sorry if that's not spelled right... I have bad hearing and masks make it worse) at the Spa front desk, she immediately made us feel comfortable. She introduced us to Keith and Ayesha (again, sorry if I spelled that wrong) who were our massage therapists. We would normally have gone to the relaxation lounge earlier to chill, but we had kept them waiting and they had graciously moved our appointment back. They took us to a massage room and let us get undressed and on the tables. And then we each had a fantastic massage. I prefer a more gentle, human-contact massage vs lots of elbows and knuckles and robot-massage person. Ayesha was great. Perfect combination of gentle and firm in places. I hate being hot and she was careful to keep the blanket off me. We couldn't get the whole 50 minutes, due to our late arrival, but it was heaven. Only thing I hate is the masks. I like to see people's faces. But I appreciate their efforts to be safe. My wife said Keith was awesome. They were all so nice to us. We are not very experienced massage people, but they made us feel welcome. The spa was the highlight of our little trip. Wish they had a sauna and cool showers and stuff, but the staff was awesome. The rest of the hotel was frankly average or even disappointing... Room was nice but smallish, windows great, temp control excellent. TV was weird because it was welcoming someone else to the room and not our name. Bed is fine. Bathroom shower door was so tight, I thought I would break it trying to open it. No fan in the bathroom which I hate and no glasses or cups! The soaps and shampoos are really low grade. I was kind of surprised. Plenty of room on the sink counter. Soap dish is just a wood box and the soap would get stuck to it. Weird...has to be a pain to clean it. No fridge in the room (which is mentioned several places on the online hotel description) but still odd. And the wall mirror is a fisheye mirror! You can hardly use it to dress in front of! I have to include a picture... Pretty but sooo not useful. A big disappointment was the pool and jacuzzi were closed for maintenance. I hate it when they do that. Give us a discount or something bc those little things are reasons why I pick a hotel over another one. And we had even been told by a couple employees there to try out the pool! Hyson at the front desk was very nice and friendly at check in and the people in other areas of the hotel were all great. The hotel itself is good but not particularly outstanding for the normal price. Breakfast menu is hilariously overpriced. $12 for oatmeal. LOL I would probably visit here again but just because of the spa. There are many hotels in this price range with better amenities and value.

Anaya's 15th bday celebration Everyone stop what you're doing, so I can acknowledge some people who made my daughter's bday that much more special! Shonta and Caroline learned of my daughter's birthday and got together to take her some cheesecake from the restaurant and lit a candle so we could all sing happy birthday. My daughter was so surprised when Caroline came to her room after 11 p.m. after my daughter and get friends sit the indoor pool down. Lol The plate had Happy Birthday spelled out on the plate! Thank you so much! Now That's customer service on steroids! Also, the chef was the bomb.com! My husband and I got up early for breakfast and the chef did his thing with the veggie omelet and chocolate chip pancakes along with the turkey bacon! Thanks for booking up the mimosas, Shonta! This is our serving staycay this year, and we'll be back!
