Bed from hell This hotel has clearly seen it's better days. I've stayed here before in the past, but this will be my last time, The bed was awful. It was beyond broken. Tried to sleep on the floor, but that didn't work. Informed the front desk upon checkout and wasn't offered anything for my rotten night. That's customer service for you. The bathroom has a jetted tub in it, which at one point had a window which opened up into the room to allow you to sit in the tub and enjoy the view outside. Now the window still exists, but only on the tub side. The room side has been sheet-rocked over. Just strange. Other than that, it's in a good location and it was mostly quiet for our entire stay. The parking garage is very small, but there was always a spot.

Good hotel, nothing fancy STayed for 5 days in August, got a 1 bedroom with a slight ocean view, but mostly city view overlooking Caesars on one side and resorts on the other. Firstly, the lobby check in was fine. However, avoid the parking garage. if you have an SUV like me, it is very difficult to turn. Park in the parking lot outside. the room is basic, but large. Queen bed in the bedroom and pullout couch with a kitchen. The furniture is outdated, but is fine. The area is right near resorts on the boardwalk and is in walking distance to most things including the outlet. overall quiet time, though we did have some noisy neighbors. we could not hear them in the bedroom. This is not a 5 star resort. I would consider it a well maintained Days Inn type of place. The pool is very small but on the 8th floor overlooking the ocean. The spa is OK and cheap. The workers seem nice, but not overly friendly. This is the 4th time I stayed here for the past 15 years and I would stay here again as long as your expectations are not high (ie you are not expecting a Waldorf Astoria type of place). It does have some activities for kids that seem fun.

Impressed I was a bit concerned about staying in a studio suite. I honestly didn’t know what to expect. The room was perfect for my preteen daughter and I. We had a full size bed. A small kitchen with enough dishes for four. There was a jacuzzi/shower. Big windows with a beautiful view of the ocean and boardwalk.

Disorganized & disappointing I booked 3 rooms to stay for the week while doing an Alzheimer’s walk on the boardwalk in AC in October. While checking in on Friday, we were provided w a half roll of toilet paper for 3 people in a room. By Monday morning we called for toilet paper and got 2 rolls. Tuesday after I called to see when they were going to service the room ; they “cleaned” the room and took back the unused roll of toilet paper that I just called for. By Wednesday morning at 3 AM , I’m out of toilet paper again! This place is a joke. I’ve never seen a place so stingy with toilet paper. They did the same thing to my friends staying in the room down the hall. They had to called for toilet paper, as well, and once they got it , the maid service actually removed the half roll on the TP holder, replaced it with a full one and took the half used roll back instead of leaving it in the bathroom for them to use. I guess they thought 1 roll would be enough for 4 people staying in a room for the week. I was told the computer system was down when we checked in, I was given a key to stay in a room but it was already given to someone else obviously , from the looks of the suitcase, money and keys on the table. Therefore after calling in advance to have the 3 rooms I booked close together they said they knew nothing about it when I checked in. Then they advised a spa however when we tried to get services it was closed the two days we called for massages so we walked to the Hard Rock casino and spa and got them there which was fabulous. There were 80 degree days & they would not open the pool area. The jacuzzi was extremely dirty and slimy so we assumed we were better off not being allowed in the area anyway. My kitchen area was not clean and had brown burnt stains on the oven tops. I checked in Friday and had to call Tuesday to see when we would get service and fresh towels. It appeared they would NOT clean your room unless you called them to come clean it. I had to call for service for my guests rooms as well because they never received service after being here for 5 days either. Over all, if your family enjoys going to the bathroom more than 3 times in a week and likes fresh after several days; then find somewhere else to stay. Especially if you don’t want to beg to wipe yourself with dollar store toilet paper only to have the maid service steal it back. If you expect minimal sanitary conditions go somewhere else because you will have to ask for fresh towels after 5 days! ( luckily I brought some from my own home) I would describe this place as disorganized and chaotic. Not worth the aggravation of arguing for common hygiene products while trying to relax at the beach for a week. I was totally embarrassed after booking this trip for my friends and family especially how they treated us. All of my guests checked out by Wednesday ( when I booked Friday to Friday) because of the poor quality customer service, lack of open amenities and the aggravation of getting personal hygiene products.

Worst experience ever at a hotel My friend and I checked into the Royal Palace Saturday night .I saw the crowd in the lobby looking very disheveled and had a very uneasy feeling. We went up to our room and upon going I to the bathroom my friend saw the hair dryer was covered in makeup and the shower had a dead bug inside We called the front and they had someone come .There was peeling paint on the ceiling ,the couch was stained and the whole place looked very unclean. We asked for a new room. They had nothing ,we asked to leave and they wanted to charge us 10% .We were literally there 10 minutes. We looked for another hotel and security came to our room telling us we had to leave .I videoed it to make sure we got a refund The girl and the front desk screamed at us not to video her . They called over a 3rd security guard .We felt intimidated, harassed and scared . Worst treatment we have ever encountered at any Hotel EVER!!!!!
