Bad to Worst Im only giving this place, Flagship/Fantasea Resort only 1 star for the restaurant, Blue Water Grill and the front desk manager, Rob G. He should get 5 stars, but that would make this place look too good. He's about the only 2 people who seem to care are Rob G and Ms. Sharon. So where should I start. So my husband became involved in the timeshare ownership at Flagship since 1998, and since married we upgraded twice. What a mistake. They are frauds, unauthentic, spineless, and I can go on but I will stop here. They talk a good game but rarely back it up, then you become ties down to a contract while taking their word only to realize that their word is not their bond while left holding the bag and a mess of a contract and service that is abhorrent. For examples, 1. We upgraded from week to points since we were told it's better and much easier to book and exchange. BOTH ARE NOT TRUE. 2. We can call and get availability at our home Resort, Flagship, NOT TRUE 3. Switching to points would make it easier to get any size room accommodation, NOT TRUE 4. Telling us we can extend stay to friends and family with chairman benefits without us being there, NOT TRUE. We would have to be there to check them on although living 4 hours away. 5. Promising us that we can use and have access to their 2 other properties, freely, also NOT TRUE 6. Property always have maintenance issues, flooding, leakage, dirty rooms, dirty walls, walls peeling, etc. 7. Their minimal communication with us as owners, not able to speak with someone when needed, etc. But they are quick to call and sell, offer, upgrade deals that they have no intentions of honoring. 8. Staff is always rude, Deanna left me hanging and never returned to the phone call. 9. Rooms are not as classy, modern, and upgraded as advertise and promised. Our home is more modern than any of the rooms we have ever stayed in. 10. The quality of services deteriorated immensely over the years, where it takes MONTHS to TRY and resolve any issue with management. 11. My husband used to rave about this place, now he is overly disgusted in every way to the extent of exploring ways on how to sell or unburnden ourselves of this place and its contract.

Not worth the Lifetime commitment! I bought a timeshare in 2005 at the Flagship Resort. I have never actually stayed at that resort itself, but I was promised that I could go ANYWHERE I wanted. Booking is almost impossible with this timeshare. I have only been able to use this TWICE in 16 years. They never have the time frame or the accommodations I requested. When I was able to actually get into one of their facilities, it was worn, old and in desperate need of repair. Completely different from the lavish facilities during their sales pitch. On top of the less than accommodating facilities, I have requested to be released from this nightmare with no help. I cannot stress enough to stay away from this timeshare company. It's not worth it.

Vacation ruined by theft We were having a great time, room location was ideal overlooking the ocean, inlet, and part of boardwalk. Room was nice size (king bed) and clean. Staff friendly and accommodating. Several days into the vacation I was contacted by my credit card company for potential improper usage. We discovered that someone broke into our room and stole 2 credit cards and cash. Management notified and was able to identify a supposed contract employee (via security video camera) enter our room without permission. We wanted to press charges and was advised that hotel security would fill out paperwork, provide security camera footage, and provide the perpetrator's identity, etc. We were also promised a refund of cash which they honored however 5 weeks have passed with no information being sent to us despite phone calls to facility security who state they provided all info to management to send to us. Supposedly they terminated the perpetrator. Be careful staying here and take all valuables with you whenever you leave the room.

disappointed This hotel has good possibilities but failed in so many ways. The location is nice, away from the the noise and crowd. Boardwalk and ocean are conveniently across the street. Our room was on the 27th floor. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and area. The disappointment starts with the hotel elevator. This is some kind of new technology that is a disaster. The numbers are on the outside, once you get in you cannot push button for next floor. Expect to wait an average of 20 mins for elevator, every time. It may be full and you will need t o wait again. Definitely a covid spreader. It was 4 of us in a one bedroom. Our first night there was no sheets or pillows for the sofa bed. After the 3rd call requesting them, we were told they would send up sheets but the hotel did not have any pillows. How does a hotel have no pillows!!???. That night we discovered the bathtub was clogged. Maintenance came fast to fix it but left a big puddle of water on the floor that we had to use the towels to wipe up. My 12 year old sister who loves pools, hated this one. The water was murky, hot tub not working, and music was too loud. Not fun. Our last day it rained very heavily. The window leak all along the wall. We were moved to another room where the bathroom sink wasnt working. They moved us again to a bedroom with no windows. by then, we've had enough and refused it. We left that evening. Every staff person we spoke with was unhelpful including the manager. Samatha Applegate, said i should call ahead for my next visit and she will make sure i have a nice room.

Over selling, over pressured, not worth the "lifetime" commitment We've had nothing but bad experiences with Fantasea. All around an unresponsive, unhelpful, deceitful company. They are all about high pressure and half truths. We can't sell our unit back because "they don't do that", but that's exactly how they originally sold us--a "resold" unit. Any complaint led to a meeting where they tried to sell us more and get names of people they could sell to. Forget about their other two AC area places---you'll never get in, And then you realize that your heirs are stuck forever once you die, because there is no getting out. Pool is useless, over chlorinated and over heated. Outside deck is just 2 dozen lounges around minuscule hot tubs (3-4 people max). On a busy day, TRY to get an elevator in under 20 minutes! Decent restaurant with limited menu. And hours. We do NOT recommend buying a timeshare from this company, nor buying one at all. A total scam. BTW, do not follow the "When did you travel?" answer, it was last before COVID.
