$1000 for 2 Nights??!! Search elsewhere for value I needed to book a property close to the Convention Center for an event in July. Shame on me for agreeing to the proposed cost of ~$500 per night. Lesson learned on that one. However, after seeing the mini "suite" that had stained carpets, very poor AC, and an overall outdated look and feel, I thought it made sense to voice my concern to Marriott when I got home. After a 30 minute hold time at the 301 380-3000 HQ number, I was told that the hotel manager is the 1st point of escalation. No follow up from them, so after a week I called back into Marriott (another 20 minute wait). They communicated that the actual hotel said that the rate was the rate as the demand was high. Never reaching out to me directly. I asked the marriott Customer Service rep to document and I would like to escalate my concerns. I was provided a reference # of 280899173. Once again, after a week of no return communication, I called back. This time, I was told that my "case" was being escalated to the "Escaltions Team", and I would CERTAINLY hear back within a week. 10 days later after no communication, I called back into 301 380-3000 (August 5th). After 20 more minutes on hold, I was told the escalations team noted the account, and that they couldnt do anything about a rate that was agreed upon prior to the stay. They never reached out, never proactively contacted the customer. I was just told that they were very very busy at their customer service, due to short staffing. But......as a good gesture the representative said she was submitting a credit of 5000 rewards points. Net / net. The lack of customer service for a $1000 hotel stay for a room from the 70s really disappointed this Rewards Member. Poor room quality, price gauging and zero customer service follow-up is my takeaway from what may very well be my last stay at a Marriott property.

Atlantic City Baby! Great location! Within walking distance to the boardwalk, Tanger Outlets and lots of casinos. Enjoyed seeing all of the gowns from the Miss America pageant inside the lobby. Eddie (the doorman) is a great asset to the hotel.

Going down hill. We have been to this hotel a few times and enjoyed our stay. Not this time. First, the pool is closed still, no mention about that at booking or on their site. Next, we used a luggage cart and they said bring it right back like I was going to keep it or something. So I brought it right back and went for a walk they called my wife 3 times asking for the cart I had already returned. As if that was not bad enough upon check out I went to get a cart they were all in a back room, so I asked for one from the bellhop again told me I have to come right back with it I said I would again I have no interest in keeping a luggage cart he proceeds to keep telling I had to bring it back quickly like I was being interrogated. The hallways were filthy seems to have been some time since they were vacuumed. The room itself smelled somewhat we had air freshener no big deal, also most of the charging hubs did not work. Very disappointing stay especially for the high price we paid for the room I will never come back here again. BTW the surronding area has gotten really bad.

If you like the smell of weed, this is your place. My wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in AC. We're Bonvoy members and wanted to stay 2 weekend nights but had to split our stays between the Courtyard ,which was a disaster and the Sheraton. We thought we could escape the smell of marijuana staying at the Sheraton but we were wrong. Right from the beginning we were overwhelmed by the smell of weed. As we walked into the Sheraton, a man was sitting next to the revolving door entrance smoking pot. I wanted to take a picture of the guy to put on yelp, but thought he might go all BLM on me. Our room was on the 8th floor. Thankfully, No smell of pot. However, when we went to the 9th floor to get Ice, the smell of marijuana was very evident in this no smoking hotel. Well, later that night, the smell it made his way down to our floor. We put towels against the hallway door, but we think the smell was coming from our vent. And to make matters worse, a dog started barking at 2:30 AM. The hotel allows pets and not just those fake emotional support/service animals. As I said before, the staff are excellent and sympathetic. They realize pot smoking is a problem in the hotel and with today's political climate, these problems might be beyond their control to do anything about it.

Good Location and Convenient to Explore around the downtown AC Easy to locate the property where is near by the outlet area in Atlantic City. the room is comfortable including all amenities with microwave during the pandemic crisis to not be able dining in some restaurants around the area. As the distribution of the pandemic vaccine, the hotel is next to the test center including the vaccine location in Atlantic City.
