Avanti Used to love my visits to the Taj so sorry to hear that it is now closed now forever. It was always a fun casino with good amenities and helpful staff. Apparently this closing is a statement of the health of the tourism business in Atlantic City.

One night stay We stayed for one night in July . It was very hot during that time. The hotel was being picketed which made for an inconvenience and the pool was full of kids so you could not enjoy that as they did not have an adult area. The hotel was nice for a night stay but the décor is getting old and worn out. We got the room reasonably cheap. They had many restaurants including one of my favorites Hard Rock hotel. It would give it a 3 out of five stars.

Amazing place - such a shame they're closing My friend and I stayed here for three nights this summer, before the strike and before anyone knew they were closing. We had the most amazing time. The room was spacious, spotless and the decor was modern. The casino is a blast, and the lounge is great - with live music for hours every evening. We had such a good time we didn't even leave the hotel in the evenings. We ordered room service almost every night, and the food is amazing, and the service is great. Such a shame this hotel is closing, it really is an amazing place. Would have definitely come back if it was still open. Thanks for providing the highlight of our trip!

Awesome Place but closing up! Well with all the Trump phenomenon, we had to stay at this palace! We got there and found out that the entire place was shutting down in a month. Most restaurants were already closed. the place was getting picketed by the union of workers. STUPID people.....now they have no job and another hotel closed up in a depressed area. Our room was awesome. the entire facility is built and looks amazing....it is such a shame it is closing.

Last night at the Taj. We stayed at the Taj for two nights this past week. Our room was clean and comfortable. Wifi that was purchased worked well. The halls were quiet and the elevators worked! The housekeeping staff was polite and unobtrusive. Gave us extra coffee supplies when I asked. Although decor is dated, we enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Sorry that it is closing, as we always liked staying in the Taj tower. A great deal of walking around the huge property is standard procedure, but I like that! I will miss this place.
