Heartless general manager, due to a death Extended stay Americka of Aurora is the most foul hotel I’ve ever seen in my life! I was genuinely helping a friend and reserve a room under my name and told them that when I went into the hotel to check in that my friend John Waters would be the one staying there as he was living in a semi truck in a Walmart parking lot and very ill. He didn’t even make it into the hotel! and I had reserved for five nights And they clearly know that he was taken by ambulance because there was a ruckus in the parking lot the next morning he went to the hospital and died and no one will help refund any of my money because I didn’t call until Sunday to check them out. I didn’t even find out until Saturday. This is the most heartless, most unprofessional, rude establishment I have ever seen in my life stay as far away as you can!!!!!!!!

Need new management Manager Anthony lacks accountability. Your room will have what appears to be dried up spit all over the floor, lights that don’t work, no drain plug or shower curtain and you will be made out to be the bad guy for requesting the items fixed. Much of the staff is trying their best but seem to be inhibited by their lack of leadership.

It was good, Until it wasn't... I have been at this location since September 2022. It was good at first. Everything was fine until January, when the main waterline broke in the attic & flooded about 90 rooms. So there are only 30 or so rooms available. Management wanted the desk staff to walk the halls where the work is being done, but refused to purchase a decent flashlight for employees (there is no power at that end of the hotel). They also neglected to fix the card reader at the lobby door, so Anyone could walk in off the street at any hour of the night. It's nerve-wracking being in my room wondering if a homeless person is going to make an attempt to get into my room. CHECK YOUR BILL / FOLIO VERY CAREFULLY! I have paid for a month at a time, the whole time I've been here, yet the "daily rate" changes sporadically. Hotel personnel (including the managers) will tell you they have no control over the fluctuation. However, when I pay for a month, I have entered into a contract with ESA -- by "changing" the rates & then contacting me (before my month is up) to say I have a balance due is ESA breaking their end of the contract. Some "computer glitch" charged me nearly $550 for One Night & my card was charged WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT! Currently, the hotel is full of refugees. I think it's fantastic these people have a place to go, but why were they given all the biggest, best rooms?! ESA is probably gouging the State of CO on those bills. Meanwhile, I was told my room rate would go up about $3-$5/night for the spring. It went up $21/night, totaling over $2700/month. I'm in a hotel because I can't afford rent like that - now the hotel is charging that?!?!

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! arrived at 5PM with a scheduled reservation. They had no rooms ready. waited over an hour for them to say a room was ready. they then put me on the 3rd floor where the hallway was littered with trash. the room was beat up with holes n the doors, bad old furniture, and a half-cleaned kitchen. This place is filling its rooms with people who have no where else to go. The hallways are full of kids playing and screaming, it is like a low-budget apartment complex. The 'grab and go' breakfast consists of something they try to pass of as coffee( light brown water) and some sort of pre-made muffin, if they are even there because of all the 'other' resident loading up on them. I booked this place for a month, and am extremely glad I only paid for a week. I will be moving elsewhere. Also, I asked for a 1st floor room due to medical issue with my leg and it causing pain when I walk. I was place on the 3rd floor at a room that is a football fied length away from the elevator. I was promised I would get a 1st floor room the next day at 3: 30. I went to the front desk at 4PM and was told (after repeating what I was promised several times) that there were no first floor rooms and that MAYBE the next day. That is what I was told the day before too. Dont stay here if want peace and quiet while on your business trip.

Horrible First off, they lost our deluxe plus reservation and said that they had given it to someone else until the next day. They put us in a tiny room with no airconditioning and they couldn't fix til the next day. I asked if they could guarantee we would have our confirmed reservation the next day and they said no. We went to another hotel, this hotel accused us of making the reservation through a third party and they said they often get bumped. We showed them that it was made directly with the softball group we were traveling with. They wouldn't give us a refund although they had no room for us until we contacted our credit card company to dispute. Horrible desk clerk, smoky, pot smelling all the time, no offer of help. I hope to never go back there ever in my life.
