FIVE STARS Embassy Suites was not a pleasant stay last time in Dallas. The water was cold blah blah, etc. But this location?! FIVE STARS! The front desk, the bartender, the housekeeping, the food, the drinks..EXCELLENT! The pool was warm for the kids in November! Locations close to highway with nearby restaurants! We will be back! Kudos to this team!

Last minute meeting space needed As an Executive Assistant I appreciate all processes and services that flow well and deliver on promises. I had virtually no notice and needed to secure a meeting space for my leadership team for an evening meeting with dinner. Julian assisted me wonderfully! He listened to my needs and provided all swiftly. All went well and the team was able to focus on what was most important.

Awesome experience! Upon arrival at this hotel I was greeted and checked in promptly. Hotel room, although older, was very nice with plenty of space. Bed was comfortable and the space was clean. I was there for a conference where we worked with Jenny and Julienne. Wow, talk about customer service! The two of them were checking in on us and making sure everything was running smoothly. If we needed to make an adjustment, they were there to assist. Their colleagues were just as great, the sound tech, the F & B peeps! We had a reception and a business meeting where the hotel provided the food. It was all awesome! Don't forget about the breakfast that was included with the stay. Highly recommend this location for your next business trip! Thanks Jenny for making it a wonderful experience!

Not Worth 1 Star I stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Central in October 2024. The only positive experience was the free drinks and snacks each evening. The size of free drink you received depended on the bartender. One friendly customer oriented bartender gave full size cups that were filled completely, one not so friendly gave small cups that were maybe 2/3 filled. It was free and you could go back as many times as you wanted until the happy hour was over, so it wasn't a huge issue. The restaurant menu was limited but they did have a very good soup, salad, and cheeseburger. Those three items were decently priced. I should have received $10 off at the restaurant as my reservation was a Diamond member reservation. I did not receive the discount. The morning breakfast buffet was average, there was nothing that really stood out. It was the same items everyday we were there. The lobby, restaurant, and bar area look nice. You can tell they have been updated at some point. I did attempt to sit in the lobby area once and quickly realized that was not a good idea when there were what appeared to be gnats flying all around. Coming back one evening I spotted a cockroach in the lobby. Moving on to the rooms. Upon entering the first room I was assigned to I was overcome by an overwhelming moldy/musty/mildew stench. I turned the A/C unit fan on thinking that may help to dissipate the smell. After about 10 minutes I went to the front desk and asked for a different room. They immediately gave me a new room. Upon entering the new room I was relieved that there was no smell. I was in a basic king room. When you enter the room you enter a living room/kitchenette area. There is a door separating the living area from the bathroom and bedroom. The living area is not lighted well. It's very dark even with the one side table lamp and one desk lamp turned on. My opinion is that if they provided too much lighting it would make it much easier for guests to see how neglected the rooms really are. They are in desperate need of deep cleaning and updates. The bathroom was the worst hotel bathroom I've ever used. Caulking was being used as an attempt to cover the fact that the bathtub faucet was not fully attached to the tub surround. Mold was growing on the bathtub faucet. Mold was growing on the shower head. Mold was growing on the ceiling vent. Mold was growing on a metal cover that was rusted and falling off the ceiling. The shower curtain was extremely too long so you had to either soak it inside the tub while showering or leave it outside the tub and soak the bathroom floor. The flush lever on the toilet was rusted. The bedroom was not bad. This hotel is directly off a very busy highway. I had to use earplugs to sleep. If you looked off into the distance out of the room window you could see the Univeristy of Texas stadium. Which you may only want to look way off into the distance because the immediate view may show you things you don't want to see. Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Central had posted a photo of their pool 2 weeks before my trip. Before posting this review I checked to see if that photo is still posted. Unless it was hidden somewhere, the pool portrayed in that photo does not exist at Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Central. The pool and hot tub do look oddly similar to the actual pool and hot tub. However, the actual pool area does not look nearly as nice. All of the plants, trees, the nice stone ledge work around the greenery, the fabric lounge chairs and umbrellas, the bubbles in the hot tub were no where to be seen at the real pool. The hot tub is placed directly in front of the entrance door into the pool room. Maybe a more important point, the hot tub jets did not work. The location of the hotel leaves much to be desired. It is not in a safe area. Unfortunately there is not much the hotel can do about that. They do charge for parking, even for Diamond members. Long story short, I will not stay here again and I will not recommend this hotel. I expected better for a Hilton property.
