Don’t stay here! was debating staying in a hotel or going to an Airbnb…and I wish we had stayed at an Airbnb! We were in Austin for a business trip and were hoping for an early check in. When we arrived they told us that yes- we could have an early check in, but they would have to charge us an additional $75! Wow!!! They clearly are not in tune with the fierce competition! Needless to say, we did not check in early. The hotel was average at best! I have been a loyal member of Hilton for years but I think it is time I take my business elsewhere!

Very good stay, great location We are very sensitive to noise, and this might have been one of the quietest hotel stays we have recently experienced. Checked in on a Thursday, and stayed through Monday morning. Location is terrific - and it was easy to walk everywhere. We opted not to rent a car and used Uber/Lyft to get to around. Never took more than 2 or 3 minutes for them to show up. Parking is available - but costs $60 night. We did have breakfast at the hotel everyday, but were disappointed that the buffet never varied. Cost was $19.95 pp, so $43.19 per couple incl. tax, but not tip. Food was good, just would have appreciated more variety. Room (#1717) was fine in size, but bathroom was small. Tough for both of us to be in the bathroom at the same time.

Very disappointed at this Hilton The room was fine. Curb appeal - the front is littered with dead crickets. You would think someone might sweep them away. Entrance is drab and dreary - not welcoming at all Sleeping - If you are a light sleeper be prepared to stay awake till 2am when the place across the street stops blaring their music. Housekeeping - 1st day they didn't come till after 4:30pm at which point we were in the midst of getting ready to go out. 2nd day still no housekeeping until I called and she came to the room late afternoon. 3rd day - I went to find her and told her we were going out. Worst one yet - On our last day there we were leaving our room and within seconds a bottle or light fixture came crashing down from above shattering glass all over the place. It could have easily fallen on us. WORST Hilton I have ever stayed.in

Customer Service Done Right Recently stayed at this location while visiting a friend in Austin. Room showed some wear, but it was comfortable and clean. Everyone I spoke with was welcoming and courteous and the location was nice as well. The only issue was the noise but I would not hesitate to stay here again if and when we return to this area.

TERRIBLE FOLLOW-UP BEWARE Anyone who knows me and has seen my reviews knows i don’t write a review especially a bad one without trying every recourse to deal with the hotel directly but since i have made no progress in that regard i guess they can respond to me here. Stayed there with my asst on June 1st for a couple of days. After ckg out i saw a huge bill. They tried to charge my asst a valet charge for parking his motorcycle on a public sidewalk which u can do legally and at no charge in Austin ($110) They had charged us a smoking charge because they said the sensors went off…neither of us smoke or vape and it is my understanding from talking to other and people “at” the hotel that the sensors are super sensitive and can even pick up passive smoke ($250) and than i had left a large Milwaukee Tower light in the closet and called that same evening when i returned to San Antonio and was told they would Ck and reply in the AM. It was a large 4’ bright red box so shouldn’t be hard to find right __‍♂️…. Ok here is the big complaint. In almost 2 1/2 months i have not gotten “1” return call. Every time i call the mgr is not on property, in a meeting, “just left” or they don’t work at the property …. It’s always been one excuse after another….. than i escalated it to Hilton and same result … they won’t respond to anything at all to me and i am the one they should be reaching out to… same with my light… someone will let me know about my property but NO ONE has ever responded. This place is a nightmare when it comes to follow thru. I hate when an independently owned hotel treats people like they and their concerns don’t matter. They feel they can overcharge u for anything and even steal from you with no recourse. That light didn’t magically disappear. I am a Diamond with Hilton and a lifetime titanium with Bonvoy. No know what to expect from a hotel. Not new to this but i have NEVER in over 3000 nights in hotel had some so completely disregard a customer in this way. I did get the valet money back but i am just stuck out on the “smokong” charger and my $235 tower light. Will be posting in multiple places
