Excellent and very recommended We stayed 10 days at this beautiful hotel, 2 adults and two small kids, and really enjoyed it. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The room was quite big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast and the service were also very good. There are nice and friendly guys there. The hotel is located at great place, with several nice restaurants less than a minute walk from the hotel. One has to note that the payment for the parking is about 4$ per day, if I'm not wrong. I don't think it was mentioned anywhere in our reservation. There was no fridge in the room, which is a bit inconvenient. Anyway, the hotel is excellent and very recommended.

Lovely Retreat We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was impressive, high ceilings, beautiful furniture, and a spacious bathroom with 2 sinks! The bed was comfortable and the town was quiet and peaceful but it was too hot to sleep. The air did not circulate in the room. The hotel would be exquisite if it was well maintained but we noticed parts of the exterior were falling apart. Customer service was top notch and breakfast had plenty to choose from. We used the indoor pool 3 times and sat by the outdoor pool once. I also used the sauna once. Everything was in working order and it wasn't very busy perhaps because it was the beginning of the week. The inside lounge is very nice to sit and relax and the patio in front and overlooking the back are great spaces to have a drink or eat. It would have been nice to have hair conditioner available at the pool (the hotel did not provide any in the room either). Wifi was hit and miss. The hotel provided bottled water in our room which was great but just a suggestion that a kettle would be a nice addition. I enjoyed my stay and would book there again.

Wonderful hotel, weak wi-fi My husband and I had a lovely 2 night stay in this beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to a small suite and loved the romantic decor. We even had a walk in closet, which helped keep our room clean and serene. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant once. The food is good. The included breakfast buffet is very generous. The waiters were friendly but incredibly busy, giving our dining experiences a sense of urgency. Maybe the hotel needs to hire more staff? The bar serves fantastic cocktails but I wish they did not allow smoking. The other issue I had was very poor wi-fi reception in our room and throughout the hotel. Still, this was a memorable and very special stay.

What a great place! Just stayed at the Panacee Grand Hotel Roemerbad for one night on my way to the south. Didn't know the hotel before but it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The place looks and feels like from another time. The building is from the early 19th century and has a lot of history. The staff is very professional and always helpful. The rooms are completely matching with the whole place and make you feel like a royalty. The restaurant has a good choice of food (German and Asian somehow) and even great vegetarian options. Can't wait to be back!

Historical Gem I usually tend to stay away from big Hotels whenever I travel. My experience at Römerbad was exceptional though. While the place still shines as a historic piece of architecture ( and one can sense that energy still ), it also delivers an outstanding customer service nowadays. I also had the best of times at their Hotel Bar '1825', where they have their very own talented Bar Piano player performing every evening. Thumps up!
