Absolutely Amazing Pennyhill Park is an amazing hotel. We visited for my husband’s birthday and I can honestly say they made the weekend so special they gave us the most beautiful room with a bottle of Prosecco and a little birthday cake. The meal in the Hillfield was absolutely outstanding they even gave my husband a birthday plate with some chocolates. The spa was absolutely beautiful such a relaxing and beautiful way to spend the afternoon. The staff I cannot thank enough they make you feel so special nothing is too much for them and provide a 5 star service. This is our 4th time at the hotel and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a beautiful and very memorable weekend.

Incredibly poor service and massively overpriced. Went with family for a birthday, the service from the off was terrible; had to ask repeatedly for drinks, the restaurant was empty but we we put in a room alone with no atmosphere, when one of our group asked what else was in the knickerbocker the waiter replied “ice-cream” and so on. Felt was also incredibly overpriced - £26 for a burger that they refuse to serve medium and took nearly a hour to arrive. Was expecting better but seems they are trading off reputation.

Our second visit to this wonderful relaxing hotel / spa , we will save this as our special place and return when we nee My wife and I stayed at pennyhill park for two nights last weekend. This was the second time we have had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel and spa. It is still as nice as we remember very welcoming reception staff especially holly who was so kind and professional, nothing is too much trouble for her .i did note that the porters that were there last time to help with the bags are no longer there, but holly was very kind and helpful in taking our bags to the room. I also noticed that the concierge parking is no longer available, apparently it was discontinued due to COVID, and never reinstated, a real shame as it was one of the little things that made pennyhill park just that bit special .apart from that negative observation our stay was simply wonderful. We had a lovely late lunch in the main bar area ,it was refreshingly casual well presented and extremely good quality, lovely fresh breads and delicious charcuterie plates followed by a delicious burger and an outstanding caesar salad . My wife was also very impressed with the cocktails, a little pricey but absolutely worth ever penny , she was particularly impressed by the mandarin mimosas , you must try one .our room was impeccably clean , very spacious and extremely comfortable, even though I thought the bed was too soft, it turned out to be like sleeping on a fluffy cloud, so comfortable. Breakfast is also a bit special, lovely selection of continental pastries , a wide choice of fresh breads, lots of choice for cereal and a really good quality cooked breakfast, the only strange thing was that the butter was issued per table on a tiny plate that was just enough for one or at most two slices of toast, additional butter seemed to be issued only on request and again consisted of a very small amount,my wife and I had to have our little plate replenished three times , we also noticed that many of the other guests were simply taking the little plate of butter from the tables around them .though I must say that the butter is very nice and is obviously of a high quality ,it did seem strange and a little annoying, but quite entertaining watching the guest collecting it from other tables only for it to be replaced by the waiting staff. On balance our stay was simply wonderful made so much more enjoyable by holly , she is an outstanding member of the team and deserves to be recognised for going the extra mile to make the guests feel special and very welcome.

A Lovely Spa Trip The Hotel: Our room was very nice and spacious The Spa There is a variety of facilities including a heated outdoor pool / jacuzzi. We hired a cabana which was a lovely experience for a special occasion but costs an additional £300. It does include early spa access from 9am/ waitress service / free soft drinks and some complimentary miniature spa products. We had very good service from staff around the pool and also upon arrival in reception from Jay. The Spa is starting to look slightly Tired in some areas ( cracked / loose paving and missing tiles around hot tub which was unexpected considering the cost and the reputation of the spa. Without the cabana you Can’t access spa until 3pm which is also pretty late in the day if you’re here for 1 night. The Massage treatment was also lacking some attention to detail (no covering of the eyes or hot towels on the feet which is pretty basic in most spa facilities) Overall it was a nice experience but considering the cost to visit I’d say it’s 7 / 10
