Nice hotel in a nice location Really 3.5 stars. Nice location. Parking is expensive but I guess you're in the city so you expect that. WiFi is free if your a Marriott member but in all honesty it's 2021 why are we still charging for that. Had breakfast. Was pretty good. People working at front desk and restarted both were very nice. Pillows stunk. Room was clean.

Very nice property I enjoyed this hotel mostly. For my last visit, as this hotel was closed, we went to near by hotel and year after, we re visited this hotel. I prefer to write review with pros and cons. I hope this help. Pros: Location: Right in front of bay, I really enjoyed it. Staffs: I was happy about small upgrade? I received. I am Marriott Gold member and I did not get upgrade for higher room category but probably one of the best for its category. I was able to see the whole city and bay together. Room: It was spacious and well designed. Cons: Room: I was able to smell some cigarette smell on room(very little) Amenities: This is whole Marriott property issue, I just don't prefer amenity on huge, refillable tube. Sorry for Marriott property that followed decisions of the headquarters, but it is one of sales-point so yes... I will mention this. Final words: Great hotel. Some disappointments will not lead me to not visit. This was enjoyable property and I can recommend this hotel.

It Pains Me to Leave This Review... Mold & No Amenities I've always loved this hotel. It's my favorite spot in Baltimore, but a moldy room and a lack of informing me that most amenities were shut down leads me to this poor review. Let's start with what's not available: Concierge Lounge Breakfast for Elite members The main restaurant Any food service, outside of a grab and go coffee bar that closes at lunch. The sun deck The pool Valet Parking A quiet place to work outside of your room Yeah, pretty much everything is gone, mostly all in the name of the 'rona. When I was told this upon check in, I asked why there was no effort made to inform me ahead of time, and was met with an unenthusiastic response. Let's start w the pool/sun deck. Apparently this closed before the pandemic. Ok, but update your website. The meta tagging or Schema on the hotel site still shows that there is a pool. Do the search for yourself - Google "baltimore marriott hotels with pool" These results will be the first hit! (Hint: its the hotel website) Baltimore Hotel with Indoor Pool | Baltimore Marriott Waterfront With an indoor pool and a fitness center, Baltimore So when you book a quick trip and hope to swim and relax, as it's 95 deg out, it's disappointing. With that, the big sun deck that was always there is also closed. As far as the other closures... it would have been nice to know these AHEAD of time. Since there the restaurant and with it, 3/4 of the first floor closed off, there was nowhere for me to set up shop and work. I would have worked from my room, but my wife was there, as the pool/sun deck is gone and there was nowhere else for her to relax. Upon being informed of the lack of amenities, the hotel was "kind" enough to offer 750 bonus points per day. Well, my folio finished for my stay, and I never received them. Thanks for nothing... Lack of amenities aside, our room had major MAJOR mold issues. Major! We checked in late to our room, and immediately smelled it. My wife told me I was crazy. When I woke up with a scratchy throat the next day, I knew something was amiss. The corner room I was in had a dual vent AC on two different walls, that allowed you to easily see inside of it. There was soo much mold inside it was disgusting. Textured, almost mushrooming mold. Seriously, the worst mold I have ever seen anywhere. I wish I would have took a picture, but I just wanted out of that room. They moved me to the same room two floors up, which was appreciated, but no one seemed to care about how bad the mold was. And that's the problem now with this Marriott, no one seems to care. Kind of just like a meh whatever response to everything. It's my hope that they get their act together, as this normally is my favorite hotel in the Harbor. The location is great, but if they dont get their act together I'll bite the bullet and stay across the street at the Four Seasons.

4th Stay at this hotel and first time during a pandemic We've stayed at this hotel on 3 prior trips to Baltimore. After reading recent reviews, we called prior to arriving to ensure that they could accommodate our SUV in their parking and that valet was available. We were assure that valet would be working on our arrival date because it was the 4th of July weekend. The location is right on the waterfront and we were on the top floor with amazing views of the water and Four Seasons hotel and pool. The large windows in the room are the perfect addition to the hotel room decor. The rooms are clean and renovated. Please note that the door to the bathroom does not lock and has an awkward crack that allows children to get in and peak in on their parents. This is important for travelers like us, who are visiting with children. Also the hot water setting on the sink was weird to get to the right setting. We didn't eat any meals at the hotel (food choices were limited due to covid), as we took advantage of the proximity to Fell's Point (breakfast at the Blue Moon Cafe) and Little Italy (lunch at Amicci's). We also enjoyed crabs at LP Steamers. The Baltimore food scene is worth the visit alone.
