Not ready for full service Marriott was not ready for full service. During our entire stay, our room was not cleaned. We inquired and were told a limited staff necessitated that Marriott suspend its cleaning unless specifically requested. This wasn’t our experience. We asked. This hotel did not comply.

Nice Stay Not a bad place to stay. My group and I were coming back from overseas and needed a place to stay the night. From the ability to reserve 12 rooms, airport shuttle, and check-in everything was very accommodating. Very appreciative of the front desk receptionist Nina, I believe, and her counterpart for working with us. Not just us but the other group that came after us as well. The bar was good, the room was good, as well as the food. Would’ve been 5 star but that morning upon check-out, since a lot of people were up around 3:00am, the receptionist, couldn’t catch her name, could’ve been a lot more customer friendly. Understood it was early and lot of people were tying to check out and get their morning started she could’ve been a little bit more friendlier. Other than that would stay again and do recommend if looking for place near the airport.

The hotel may be fine but the parking lot is NOT safe My daughter left our Prius in the BWI Marriott lot for 6 days and came back to find the catalytic converter stolen. It cost $2000 to replace. Apparently a lot of thieves go after Prius’s so I will not park mine at an airport ever again, especially one that is as unsafe as the Marriott at BWI.

Perfect Location, Airport Shuttle, Relaxing This was a relaxing place to stay the night before we headed out to the airport in the morning. The shuttle runs frequently to the airport which we utilized without any issues. The bar was open in the evening and we had some very good food. We really enjoyed the cream of crab soup and the hummus plate. There were also good speciality drinks. We didn't go in but the indoor pool looked clean and refreshing. The employees were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the room service starting at noon. We really would have liked to eat breakfast in our room. If you want breakfast, you have to go to the Starbucks in the lobby. We just didn't feel like doing that and decided it was time to go to the airport. Overall, it was a good experience. You can't go wrong with a Marriott.

COVID or not I booked the Marriott because it is a full service hotel. The only service I experienced was after 5 in the lobby bar. The morning I was there the Starbucks person called in sick therefore there was zero coffee or breakfast items available. I ( and others who came to the lobby for coffee/food) were told the front desk could sell us a coffee for $2 (from a Keurig) and that pastries were in the “grab” spot by the desk. The only pastries were 2 pieces of old wrapped plain yellow cake. I heard the front desk replete that there was no coffee or food because apparently the only person who works in the morning was sick. I understand that limiting service during COVID is necessary, but this hotel - again- a FULL SERVICE HOTEL certainly could have done better. No place to sit and get food until after 5 is inexcusable. Many people, including me, are there from a plane or going to a plane and have no easy way to go out of the hotel. I will certainly not recommend staying here.
