Best place to stay in Baltimore Always an amazing stay here at the inn at Hendersons wharf. Walking distance to our favorite places and nice home away from home when visiting our daughter who is a student here in Baltimore. The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and the staff is amazing. It’s our third time staying and certainly not the last!

Inn-ferior service with promises unkept? This is a tough review to write as we have stayed at this hotel many times through the years and have always loved it! We really felt disenchanted with our one-night stay, not for the location or cleanliness, but for broken promises in service delivery. After booking that morning, we received texts offering earlier check-in, later check-out, etc, all with a fee. Most hotels try to accommodate an early arrival but when we arrived at 12pm at the desk just to make sure we could park our car there, were told that 'hopefully if you return at 4pm we will be close to having your room ready'. They kindly held our bags and when we returned at 4pm, it was ready, thankfully. Our package included self-parking, deluxe continental breakfast and a welcome treat in your guestroom from a local bakery', I texted the front desk to ask about the treat and the response was 'The in-room snacks would be your chips and water', Really? It was single-serving 1oz (like you give a kid in a lunchbox-sized) bag of Utz Crab Chips. There was no information provided at check-in about times for welcome reception or continental breakfast. The site advertised a seasonal welcome cocktail at check-in (non-existent) and robes with evening turn down service (never offered, no one knocked on the door at all). We did text to ask time for the breakfast and it was a fresh selection of hard-boiled eggs, overnight oats and some mass-produced pastries along with granola and yogurt and overnight oats. A deluxe continental breakfast usually includes some scrambled eggs or sausage/bacon, but the only hot option here was a waffle iron. The coffee was hot and delicious. Overall it just felt like false advertising... what did I pay extra for? Where were the promised amenities? Why did it feel like they have become a hotel that wants to nickle and dime guests for courteous service? I think it is likely our last stay here as we will move closer to the harbor to a chain where our points and loyalty will be sure to be rewarded!

Nice stay at an older property I enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The room was clean, albeit a bit dark, and I appreciated the snacks/coffee/tea/water offered in the lobby all day. While the quality of the breakfast could be improved to offer items that are a little fresher, overall it was sufficient. And all of the staff with whom I interacted were extremely kind, friendly, welcoming, and courteous. I particularly enjoyed my interactions with Diamond, the lovely woman from Trinidad, the smiley woman working at breakfast last Friday, and the gentleman at the front desk on Saturday afternoon when I was checking out. Very professional and warm staff. I would stay here again.

Great service and clean rooms! Cory at the check in desk was excellent at assisting us at every need. The rest of the hotel staff was also extremely welcoming and always willing to help. Views from the bay room was beautiful. Thanks for a great stay! Will definitely be back.

Great stay. Great staff. The rooms were comfortable and unique. My kids loves the breakfast. Cool neighborhood with shops and bars and restaurants and coffee shops. Loved the waterfront. Great routes to run if you are into running. I know I am. Am I at 200 characters yet?
