Great customer service We stayed at this hotel just a few days ago and I must say the customer service is really really great. Left a pair of shoes in the room so I called the assistant manager and Harry volunteered to go and send them to me. The next day he called me from fedex verifying that he had sent my shoes. Harry went above and beyond on his day off. What great customer service!

Beautiful hotel & Wonderful Stay_ We had a wonderful experience and stay at this elegant… property. What a beautiful well kept property!!! We were upgraded…and stayed on the top floor #1216 nice room with hard wood floors, and view of the city and pool. The staff and bell man was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing!!! It was a buffet style…With a server to serve you what you wanted. Hot Steel head Oats, Sausage, bacon, grits, potato’s were so good!!!! Everything was so flavorful…Louisiana style!!!! One of the best Renaissance hotels I have stayed at during my many travels. You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing Visit Stayed here previously before renovations & they had carpet, I would have rated 4 stars then. Now the bathrooms & rooms have been upgraded, when I entered the room it smelled amazing!! I'm a clean freak & it met my standards of cleanliness. Bar was okay, only had one bartender working but she handled it well. Only issue is when I checked in the concierge told the guy in front of me about breakfast times & did not tell me but I just searched around to find that information out. No biggie! Definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking to wind down.

Managed very well. During my weeklong stay there was a local baseball world series tournament in which many kids were banging on guests doors and causing huge problems. Fortunately, Harry at the front desk, was fantastic in how he dealt very professionally with the situation. His kindness and hard work was much appreciated during my business stay. I think by going the extra mile that he did, the property should be very happy to have him as a manager.

Recovering from the Pandemic Rooms are clean and well maintained, Concierge room not yet opened. they have a good workout facility as well. Very disappointed in the restaurant - 3 service folks on duty - visited the restaurant on 3 separate occasions and had to ask someone for service. other than one young lady working hard cleaning tables and serving - the other 2 just stood around talking and looking at their phones. This service didnt help the buffet that served semi-cold scrambled eggs, half cooked sausages and then you would ask for toast and they would forget to give it to you. Very Very disappointing - this has all the makings to come back to the 5 star hotel they were - but need the support of their staff to make it happen
