Awesome I am a frequent world traveler (67 countries) and only say this so you can put this review into context. This may be the best place and best experience I have ever had. The location is perfect, the views from the porch are great, and the rooms are outstanding. The item that makes this even better is the staff. We certainly enjoyed everyone but Matt was exceptional. Matt checked us in seamlessly, ensured we knew how to use everything in the room, carried my wife's bag to the room, checked on us, and gave us travel tips for the city. Karen was also great - she was very nice and shared her local knowledge. The staff cleaned the room and provided fresh towels every time we left. The breakfast was very good with a number of options. Enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks all day. The complimentary evening social hour was great and we met couples from all over. At night we sat on the front porch with a view of the water and watched the moss sway. We were told that the B&B had recently been renovated and they did a great job.

Beautiful Beaufort From the time you arrive, the Cuthbert House Inn staff defines what “southern charm” means. The friendliness, reception hour, and breakfast were well above our expectations. The newly renovated house and location to historic Beaufort are perfect!

Treat yourself to old world charm at Cuthbert House, Beaufort SC and enjoy outstanding southern service and friendliness Had a wonderful 2 night stay at Cuthbert House. We originally only booked one night but it was such a stunning property we had to extend our stay another night. The house is full of colonial charm and the furnishings and decor are impeccably tasteful, largely down to the husband and wife team who own Cuthbert House. We met Chris the owner each day of our stay and he was super welcoming and helpful on the local area, which was a bonus for us as we are contemplating a move to the area. The staff were outstanding too, it would be unfair to single out any particular individual as they were all so friendly, professional and created a really sociable environment during breakfast and afternoon cocktails, all of which were complimentary. We could not fault our stay at Cuthbert House and will definitely stay again next time we are in Beaufort. We highly recommend it.

Incredible stay! Our stay at the Cuthbert House was impeccable, from attentive service to savory food, relaxed and welcoming afternoon social hour, and of course the most warm and pleasant staff. We thank Suzanne, Chris, Matt, Karen, and Laurie for their outstanding hospitality and we appreciate their attention to every details of our needs. The location was fabulous, minutes to downtown Beaufort with plenty of good restaurants and specialty shops. We will definitely return and bring our friends and family.

Must visit. Entire visit start to finish was a dream! The renovations look absolutely beautiful. This was our second visit- first with the new changes. The owners are absolutely wonderful and they make it feel like home!, staff is more than helpful and they treat you like family. The ability to meet new people and chat on the porch while having drinks and hors d’ oeuvres is unmatched! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the bathrooms are exquisite and top of the line! I cannot say enough good things about the Cuthbert. We will be back again. You have to visit! You will not regret it! _
