Very unfriendly reservations staff! Do not stay here if you are traveling on behalf of a company or institution as they are very unfriendly and very behind the times in the way of technology. They will not work with companies who use Travel cards to book their travel, do not accept electronic/PDF signatures, and insist on the client faxing or emailing a copy of their driver’s license to them – very much a no-no in this day and age of identity theft, etc. We recently attempted to book some rooms there during a company training, and the weekend staff were very unaccommodating and very unfriendly in terms of their communication. Definitely will not be recommending this hotel, and will be sure to tell other corporate accounts I know of not to use them. I would give their staff a "negative" rating, if possible.

Friendly and comfortable convention center hotel Friendly, polite and cordial front desk and dining room staff. Facility has some renovations which need to be done but overall is a comfortable convention center hotel. I had a multi-day business event in a nearby office building and the Elegante was perfectly located for my needs. A plus is the shuttle service offered. I needed it to get to and from the airport (I wish there was a Trip Advisor site to tell you the inadequacies of that place and the hostile treatment by American Airlines personnel). They had drivers and accommodated my schedule exactly. Adequate breakfast provided. Exercise equipment quite adequate for most travelers' needs with elipticals, treadmill, multi-exercise weight machine, dumbells, etc. Pool quite lovely.

Horrible cleanliness and maintenance. Toilet was filthy, tub was in disrepair, balcony door could not be locked, handprints on mirrored closest doors, debris on floors in common areas and order on third floor. Emailed GM and corporate execute and received no response. Obvious that guests are to ignored. Stayed at this property for years, gone way downhill. Will not return to this now 1 star dump. So sad.

Awful experience I have stayed at this hotel twice and ONLY because my high school reunion was held here. The first time was not good ... and the second time was even worse. I sincerely hope the next reunion is NOT scheduled at this hotel, if it is I will stay someplace else. Here are just a few of the issues: This hotel is so outdated, and just smells old. The AC in my room was so noisy that it was difficult to sleep. There were parts of the hotel that were always hot. The women's bathroom near the ballroom always smelled terrible. The other bathrooms near the cafe were always locked and unavailable. At the banquet, my table asked for refills of tea and was told "the reunion president said you will need to get refills yourself". Breakfast was late because the hotel was unaware that the start time was 9am, not 10am. We were served coffee in styrofoam cups. Everything about the hotel was not up to standard and expectations. I do not feel that my money was well spent.
