Needs some work Booked an overnight stay here because we were in the region and wanted something quieter than in Quebec City. I liked the promise of avoiding contact with people by checking-in with the Marriott Bonvoy app and having a digital key on my phone. Upon arrival, I checked-in using the app but discovered that it was pointless since I had to go to the front desk to get a key card that would allow me to park on site. So much for no contact! (This was not the fault of the front desk clerk, who was friendly.) We made our way to the room to discover that the digital key did not work. No big deal (we used the key card instead) but what's the point of having the app?! The room was nice. No complaints. In the morning, I went downstairs to get some coffees and pastries from the café. There were two sleepy-looking young women behind the counter -- one who was friendly and one who looked like she hated her job. We were checked-out via the app (it was good for something!). The hotel is a ski resort so maybe it's not at its best in the summer. (Plus, it is still under some COVID-related limitations.) But, overall, I'd recommend it.

Perfect in every way! We were upgraded to a two bedroom loft suite overlooking the pool and the ski hill. It was fabulous! Open air, high ceilings, amazing shower, soaking tub, fireplace, big dinning area and full kitchen. The beds were super comfy (king in master bedroom and queen in second bedroom). Everything is newly renovated and very clean. The suite does have a long narrow balcony, which is used for standing (not sitting), but you can sit just inside in the living room with the glass sliding doors open, which is what we did. The swimming pool was so nice after a full day touring Quebec City. We pretty much had the pool to our selves as we were there mid week in early July. There is great hiking trails right from the hotel. The gondola only runs every second day or so, so check the schedule when you check in if you want to ride up. The restaurant is excellent. We ate there both evenings, and the food was excellent, and nicely presented. would definitely stay here again!

Be ready for construction site surroundings Got waken up by contractors using hammer drills before 7am. Not my idea of perfect vacation! Pool is closed due renovations Every day there were many movers on our floor bringing equipment to the rooms. Few of them not wearing masks while Hotel demands you to wear it at all times They charge 35$/day extra for having a pet in the room. Outrageous. Book it though other sites , much cheaper then booking on their website.

A little disappointed Check in was not done properly. It was our first time staying here. Most ski resorts have ski racks in rooms. We were not advised that they have a locker room on second floor for skis to be stored by room number. No bellhop service. It’s a very long treck to rooms. And NO luggage carts to be found. They have very few. Skiing is awesome and so were rooms. Only complaint was that rooms were a little tight.

Best place to stay if you're skiing at Mont Sainte Anne We spent four nights at the Chateau Mont Sainte Anne in early March, little realizing that it would be the last ski trip of the season thanks to COVID-19. Fortunately for us, our stay at this hotel was exceptional! Upon arrival we found out we were upgraded to a room on the fifth floor - this is their Nordik section with Scandinavian style rooms. We also received breakfast vouchers for the four days we were staying thanks to being a VIP member with Expedia. The room itself (517) was spacious with two queen beds, a kitchenette, dining table, and large bathroom with a full bath. The kitchen was well appointed with a full microwave and dishwasher although there is no countertop stove. Plates, cutlery, wine glasses etc. where also provided and there’s a large grocery store less than a 5-minute drive away. The hotel wasn’t busy so our room was exceptionally quiet. Breakfast consisted of a full buffet with lots of choices including, bacon, ham, sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes and waffles. There were continental options as well that included pastries, croissants, cheeses, yogurts, cereals and fruit juices. The food tasted really good and they served a nice strong coffee. The hotel staff, from the receptionist to the porters and the cleaning crew were all exceptional; we even received an email from the hotel manager on the day we checked into ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. I highly recommend this hotel, not only in terms of the location (it’s right on the ski slope) but also based on the fact that the rooms are very nice (4th and 5th floors) and the staff are exceptionally friendly. I don’t know when we’ll be able to travel again but at least my last vacation is full of good memories thanks to the team at Chateau Mont Sainte Anne!
