3.5 on 5! I'm really unsure what score to give this hotel, because we had very clear high points, but also definite disappointing aspects during our stay. The property and room was clean, and had several impressive features - the showers, the TV IN THE BATHROOM MIRROR, and the chairs & decor in the room were great. Con: you either get air conditioning (if you want the room lower than 20) or heating. This meant that night, when we were sweltering with the bed covers, we ended up having the air conditioning run intermittently all night, which was off-putting. A bigger struggle was the pools. We were told (and specifically chose the facility) because of the outdoor heated pool. I was confirmed that it would be open Sunday, but not Monday (of our Sunday-to-Monday stay). Upon arrival (2 days later), we learned that it was covered and unavailable, but the indoor pool was open for private group use. My wife and I lasted about 15 minutes before we had to leave the attractive pool area because of a burning sensation in our throat and lungs. This discomfort stayed for about an hour afterwards, and we can only assume that it had something to do with excessive chlorine (or a mixture with a cleaning product) in the pool area. I know there are other attractive features of the resort that may have improved my rating (the restaurants and room service were closed during our stay, which we were aware of, but sound excellent). They kindly allowed us a late checkout free of charge, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, I can't overlook a clear health concern.

Wonderful! This was a one night stop on our way home from Quebec City and was absolutely delightful. Spend a relaxing afternoon at the Espace Aqua-Detente and had a great evening meal in the terrace bistro. Booked a deluxe room and it was beyond luxurious!

Elegant hotel, beautiful outdoor pool and jacuzzi even in winter We spent one night here in 2 adjoining rooms with our 3 kids ages 5, 12, and 15. The hotel is beautiful- very elegant with illuminated trees and a nice restaurant. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff were more than accommodating. The highlight of our stay was swimming in the heated outdoor pool and enjoying the two outdoor hot tubs on a snowy February evening. I didn't see any other families with children while we were there- there were mostly retirees and business travelers, but I never felt like the kids were unwelcome.

Worth the stop between Montreal and Quebec city I travel often between Montreal and Quebec city and rarely stop in the Trois-Rivières area. This place showed me I was wrong ! Our kids offered us a package including golf, diner and night stay. We were delighted ! The 4 services meal was outstanding. The premises are great. Place is quiet. Staff is friendly. We were so pleased that we consider to offer a package to the Auberge Godefroy as a gift.

All good except.... We stayed there for one night as there was a competition not far away. Beautiful lobby, great pool spa area, nice size room, beautiful view, but.... the bathroom reeked like mould , I guess it is the old shower curtain, but it stank up the whole room and made me inspect the bathroom a little further and around the shower area and toilet there was dirt and mould The hotel was fully booked with 3 weddings apparently, so the service was slow for dinner, but the food was good, so was the breakfast buffet Others in our group did not have the smell, but for the price you are paying that should not happen
