No value for money, dirty and outdated I can understand how they have received 4 stars when this was opened in 1998, I can not understand however how were they able to keep those stars while the hotel looks old, rooms are outdated and dirty. This review is based on room 905 Bathroom plumbing doesn't work well. Staff was friendly but inefficient. Towels and bedding is visible old and some are even stained Light feature on the besides are extremely dirty. No welcome package or instructions for the hotel. Wifi was decent At conditioning doesn't have a turn off button (it's broken) and it's always on. There are no extra power outlets for use, in case you need to plug a laptop or a charger you need to unplug the tv or the cable receiver. Hotel policy mandates that you re-key your room card every day "for security purposes" (I have never seen this before) The rooms were expensive for what it provides. Breakfast is of poor quality and variety. I haven't used the restaurant, but staying at the hotel is not what someone wants. The car park is expensive but they do offer valet included. The location was the only advantage. Well, sort of. This was a better area 10 years ago. To me is inexplicable how they are maintaining their 4 star rating.

Unhappy! I booked it with a good discount but the full price it too expensive for what it offers. The room is small, there are almost no outlets, the reservation confirmation didn't make it clear that the parking garage would be charged apart and though the conformation stated that there wouldn't be any other taxes, I spent several minutes at the check-out desk arguing about this. In another words, I had a terrible experience!

Excellent location to ger around in Belo Horizonte The hotel is very well located. You are close to museums, bars, restaurants and the historical center, Remember that Belo Horizont is well known for its cultural lice and lively night at the bars with petiscos mineiros (typical tapas) The breakfast is adequate, the rooms are clean and wifi very rapid.

Horrendous. Would barely give it a 1 star. I have no other words but disgusting. The hotel is old and unappealing. The room felt outdated and dirty. I didn't feel comfortable getting into the bed nor using the shower. The breakfast was pretty unappetizing as well. We had to switch rooms because the room we received was facing the front and it was so loud that it felt as though our room was actually in the street. This hotel definitely does not even come close to a 4 or even 3 star hotel.

The worst hotel ever, a bit more like a brothel than a hotel Readers please take note - this is the worst review I have ever written. We stayed at this hotel during the FIFA World Cup. It was a busy time so one could forgive many things like - the hotel check-in us into a room that was already occupied, lack of hot water (for 2 days), hotel safety boxes that don't work, general chaos, etc. BUT, what is inexcusable is the role of hotel staff in managing a large and steady flow of local sex workers in/out of the hotel. The hotel lobby is inundated with prostitutes after hours. The concierge has a small blue book with photos of local sex workers and coordinates bookings for guests. It is an expensive hotel and staff are far too busy collecting their commission from local sex workers to actually assist hotel guests. If you are travelling with children please note, this is not a safe and appropriate hotel. The reception and management act with surprise when confronted about this (and seem to blame the night time staff), but there is no way something of this scale could be going on without their consent. There are many other hotel options in BH, better stay somewhere else.
