Older motel. Make no mistake this is a dated motel but clean with comfy bed & all the basic necessities that a road traveler could need. They had a good WiFi connection and the breakfast was better than I expected (scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, cereal, Belgian waffle machine, yogurts, tangerines, apples). The woman working in the breakfast room was wiping down the tables after patrons use which was good to see. Also, a minor thing but they had good quality Chinet paper plates (so much better than styrofoam used by some better hotel chains!) The pool was drained & the jacuzzi was full of debris perhaps due to maintenance work. But it did detract from the appearance of the place. I chose the room with one bed which was ok although they had left the ceiling lamp on a rope chain a bit low and my husband had to stoop to avoid hitting his head (they obviously relocated the table & chairs in room). The faucet was leaking, also.

AZ BDR Day 2 I don't know what other options are available in Benson but I would skip this if I am back in Benson. Best aspects, the rooms are large, plenty of hot water and AC worked well. Issues, switches on lights broken, ceiling lamp so low that you hit your head on it, several times, cleanliness was lacking. Beds were decent. Another highlight, the Benson Donuts across the street makes delicious donuts and apple fritters.

Convenient Lodging, Clean & Comfortable It was just what we were looking for in a quick overnight stay. Easy Interstate 10 access. Comfortable bedding, adequate room size and clean lodging with breakfast. Night manager and breakfast attendant were friendly. Would stay here again.

highly recommend Excellent services, nice place. Bed was soft and comfortable vs a firm bed. Quiet other than the train once in a while but thats not their fault, and with my fan on, i didn't hear it much. breakfast was good, don't forget to check under the eggs and gravy for the biscuits or you'll miss them. :)

BAD Drove 800 miles to get to Benson, Az to see parents. Knew I would arrive very late and tired. My mom booked and paid for my room. Arrived around 11:30 pm and given my key. Entered a room that had NOT been cleaned. Towels on the floor, garbage in cans, etc. Went back to office to inform them. Was given another room. You would think by 11:30 at night the rooms would be clean since checkout is around 11 am. Would Not stay there again.
