Top Tavern This is a well maintained historic building, the decor looked very fresh but in keeping with the age of the property. First impressions are important and we enjoyed a welcoming, helpful greeting on our arrival from Joshua at the front desk. Our bedroom was large, comfortable, clean and quiet with tv and good wifi. Dinner served by the friendly Valerie was good, breakfast similarly tasty. The Tavern is well located in this pretty town with ample free parking. Deserving of a 5 star review.

Walkabout Stumbled upon this gem. When we head off for our three day road trip to anywhere, there are no plans, just experiences. We were thrilled Boon Tavern Hotel was one of those. Comfortable, clean room. Loved that the furniture was made by the college students. Lovely campus. Nearby shopping. We will come back for certain and recommend to all others on their walkabout.

A Very Comfortable Hotel The most comfortable hotel I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The Boone Tavern Hotel is not only a historical establishment, the rooms are great, as are the beds and surroundings. We've stayed here before and have never been disappointed. If you are in the area this is well worth the stop.

Beautiful hotel, well-appointed rooms, excellent service! Our church group of 31 people stayed May 8-10, 2024. The hotel is beautiful and built solid. Well appointed and very comfortable rooms with comfortable beds, desk with chair, just the right amount of lighting, and ceiling fan, air conditioning worked perfect. I don't watch TV, so didn't turn it on. A single cup Keurig coffee maker with a real coffee mug (not paper) was provided with 3 types of K-cups, and indiv wrapped packets of sweetener, creamer, stirrer. Bathroom was also nice with tub/shower combo and good sized mirror above sink; they provided a blow dryer. The elevator was large enough for a good sized group to ride to 2nd & 3rd floors. I prefer to take stairs, and loved the beautiful staircase with banister. I also loved the historical portraits with explanations about the people. There were several sitting rooms, 2 on the first floor and one on the 2nd floor. (I didn't go to 3rd floor.) Our group had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts in our own dining room, the Coyle Gathering Room; the food was delicious and the service was attentive! Kudos to front desk staff, meals manager and servers, and room maids; all very friendly and accommodating! Looking forward to coming back again!
