Surprisingly Disappointing If you like standing around waiting for elevators, if you appreciate tasteless bland food, if you’re looking to be ignored by the desk staff … this could be the ideal hotel for you! The elevators are a joke!! You wait forever for one to arrive - even on quiet days. The food (bar and breakfast buffet) is basic and flavourless. Every time I went to reception, I stood waiting for the person on duty to look up from their screen - and most times was made to feel like an inconvenience. There is a pool terrace on top… it doesn’t open until 11am, so if you’re looking for an early morning swim before work, forget it. This hotel is part of the Hilton group. I’m surprised. BUT* full praise to: Marta, Greta and Boli! They work in the restaurant area and are friendly, polite, helpful and smiling. Be sure to tip them - not like the ignorant couple next to me for breakfast who were rude and demanding and then left without so much as a cent in gratuity. Come on! These people work hard and rely on our tips. I added extra to mine as they deserved it. The hotel itself doesn’t.

Courteous customer service We were not able to get the room we had planned but Jose was very accommodating. We had called down for a high floor room and a view, but unfortunately there was a block on our room when we arrived in the evening. When we came down the next morning, Jose was happy to assist with us moving our room. We appreciate the consideration for me and my family. Thank you.

Terrible management Please do not book your stay there is not even worth it, Got a terrible experience trying to get some help with my booking, any changes any small details they just want to collect the money and don’t give you any choice. I personally needed to make changes because I have a wedding and they just don’t care and took all my money, it is a shame the administration and management made me wait 3 days just to say no Never ever booking in this place

Parking is a Nightmare- service desk is unacceptable. I’m am always grateful to be on vacation. I nearly ever write a negative comment but this hotel has made me so mad I had to share. We arrived around 9:30pm after driving all day. Unfortunately when we arrived we found that there were no parking spots on the small parking level that could fit SUVs. We went to the front desk and they told us we had to park in a lot that was free until 6:00 the next morning. We walked back to the hotel from our spot and asked what we were supposed to do in the morning. We were told to set an alarm so we could basically go feed the meter. I was very unhappy and let the desk staff know. They responded with a meek sorry. This is absolutely unacceptable. Our car now sits in a public lot, not close to the hotel, and probably with a ticket because my traveling partner and I refuse to awake before 6:00 am to pay for parking at this time of day.

Good Hotel I have stayed at The Bethesdan 4 times now this year. My rooms were clean, and well supplied. Staff checking me in has been polite and responsible. Bartender and wait staff all smile and are helpful. I will be returning again next month. Snacks.
