Great view, NO AC and dated furniture/look Staff was very helpful. Surprised that activitiy sign ups are still on paper. Enjoyed boat ride! Dad & son duo are great entertainers and make the 2 hour tour enjoyable. Units need AC, or at least have fans in living room and bedrooms. There was only one fan over the kitchen table. Furniture is dated and units need remodel or fresh new look.

Enjoyed our June stay at Lagonita Lodge We enjoyed the resort activities as well as Big Bear attractions. Recommend this resort. Clean and well maintained with a courteous and helpful staff. Nice location on the lake. We will stay at Lagonita again soon.

Feels like home In a beautiful setting on Big Bear Lake , this resort has all the amenities one could want. Staff is so very friendly. Very quiet, planned activities, indoor pool, jacuzzi and exercise room. Fishing , boat trips around the lake and more.

Deceptive Room Description- Beware! The property is very deceptive, and they know it and laugh about it. They describe their condo view as “Lake View”. Our condo was at the back of the property and was NOT a lake view unit. The front desk staff laugh and say that if you stand at just a certain angle and look out of the corner of the unit you can see the lake over the cars in the parking lot. Then they laugh and say it is a better view than what they have. In order to get a view of the lake you have to have a Lake Front unit, of which were not even an option when I booked as they were clearly sold out. Our unit was fine inside… dated but clean. It is frustrating when you spend hundred of dollars for a supposed relaxing weekend in a condo with a lake view and you actually get a view of the cars in a parking lot. If you did stand in the corner of the unit, on a chair, you could see a sliver of lake. This is a depressing little town with a deceptively bad lodge selling rooms with fake descriptions.

Horrible trip / rude staff I just stayed there with my family. The staff was rude. Everything was shoddy. No amenities whatsoever. They took half my deposit without any notice. Very unprofessional. My family and I will not return.
