Enjoyed the theater but there were some amenities lacking for the price We booked our room in October along with tickets for Elf. We paid for early check in but didn’t get to use it because the check in process was horrible. I was traveling with my husband and 2 teenage children. The decorations for Christmas were gorgeous. We finally got into the room with my technology impaired husband’s phone. The room was large and comfortable but smelled strongly of mildew. We turned the air down hoping to abate the mildew smell and it did help some. We went in search of food and someway to get keycards so we had ways to get into the room. We found another long line with others struggling to do the same. My 17 year old daughter helped my husband then several other elderly people behind her to get key cards. There was no staff to help. She finally helped an elderly man then someone younger was next so she could slip away or she would have been there all day. I told her she should stay and charge $5 per person and make some money! My son decided to eat at the taco restaurant in the shopping area but we left for a favorite place outside of the Beau Rivage. The production of Elf was so good and the theater was very comfortable. As we entered the theater we went between a bar area and the casino floor. There was an incredibly strong cigarette smell which is not typical of most casinos I have been in. Later, I found that the Beau Rivage casino allows smoking all over the casino and the smell is strong all over the casino floor. I found the public areas to be sorely lacking in restrooms as well. In fact, while in the lobby another guest told me “girl, if you gotta go in the Beau don’t wait because it is a hike and a wait to find a restroom.” At intermission we found it faster to go to the 20th floor to our room rather than wait in line. After the performance we went looking for a place to grab a snack along with all the other families who were staying to sadly find that everything was closed. Yes, all the shops, all the snack style restaurants, everything. There was 1 restaurant open, I believe called Salt and Ivy but not really a snack place. So back to the car we went to find an ice cream shop. The beds were really comfortable and the linens good. The toiletries smelled great. We all woke up stuffy because of the mildew smell. My husband had made the reservation along with buying the Elf tickets for my birthday in October and didn’t realize that the Beau Rivage was a Marriott property. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member so we stopped at the lobby to request the stay to be put on my account. The person working the front said it could not be done which really makes me angry. Overall, the room was very comfortable but if you are sensitive to mildew beware. I didn’t smell the mildew anywhere but the room.

Christmas getaway The bed is so comfortable, we had a beautiful view of the gulf and the room was clean and wonderful. The shower was great, good spray and hot water. The decorations are always beautiful. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi. The temp was just right and it was nice and clean.

Fun at the Beau The rooms are very spacious and feel extremely comfortable. Best night sleep at the Beau Rivage out of all of the hotel casinos in Biloxi. I love seeing all of the decorations throughout the year because they are absolutely beautiful. Great restaurants and quick places to eat.
