Don't Book Here If You Need an Accessible Suite Last May we booked an accessible suite here for the second weekend in August, high season. We have stayed here several times before and it has been fine. However, yesterday we got a phone call from the hotel asking if we REALLY needed accessibility. Yes, we really do. I have serious mobility problems and use a wheelchair when I'm out and about. Something seemed iffy about the call, so my husband phoned again today. Turns out all the accessible suites are being renovated and not available. They told us this less than TWO WEEKS before we were supposed to arrive and when it's too late to reserve anything comparable. This is the only weekend we have for a short summer break. What a disappointment!

Beautiful stay. This is a beautiful hotel, that was recommended to us by someone who had stayed there before. Our room was very large, and the bathroom was equally grand, with a (modern) claw foot tub. The large picture window overlooked a corn field, with farmhouses and barns in the distance -very peaceful. Our room was in a wing that is “adults only”- I’m not anti-child, but it’s a nice idea. There is plenty of hotel left for families with children. The breakfast buffet was wonderful- lots of choices with both basic and local dishes. The coffee bar was always open, and there were cookies too in the evening. I used both the exercise room and the indoor pool, and give them both a thumb’s up. I would definitely stay here again.

Somewhat Disappointed This our favorite hotel in Lancaster County and we've stayed here numerous times however this time we were somewhat disappointed. The furniture shows signs of wear, the bed did not have a comforter on top, the mattress was saggy and spongy and some of the faucets had signs of corrosion. The room was otherwise nice and we enjoy their adults only building. The free breakfast is nice with lots of choices and a grilling station. All in all it still is a nice place to stay it just needs some attention to details.

1 day ago. 2 night stay Beautiful room ,very clean and lovely decor. Polite and friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Freshly cooked eggs by a gentleman with very personable manner. We stayed in the adult only wing. Our view of the farm was tranquil. 5 stars from us

Don't Miss This Property Do not hesitate to stay here!!! The rooms are well appointed with high ceilings and comfortable beds and even a recliner. Super large screen TV as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are currently undergoing some renovations so the rooms and lobby will be even better. My room overlooked an Amish farm and I got to see them planting the fields out my window. If you don't come for the rooms come for the breakfast buffet. Wide variety of great breakfast foods, even local sausages that were great. Their is a cook making eggs any way you want them. He was also making waffles for the guests. Great coffee and even a Capuchino machine. Almost forgot the cinnamon rolls. There is a nice indoor pool but I didn't get to use it. The location is also great and you can enjoy the short countryside drive.
