Check the location! The lovely owner is in the process of ceasing operations at one location and offering only rooms at her other location. Be sure to call and get the correct address! With that being said, we enjoyed our stay very much. The owner is knowledgeable about the mansion's history and freely shares. Her collection of china sets is stupendous, and we enjoyed learning about how to judge the age of china. She let us check-in and peek at the unoccupied rooms on our own, and that made the house seem very welcoming and open. We will be back!

Good location, too much china on the table this is a nice BnB . The hostess could not have been nicer. the rooms were spacious. the bed in the first floor room is a bit soft. Breakfast was ok- not much opportunity to have something different than the main item. Fruit was served but in small portions. The one thing they need to improve ( it's a small thing) is the china on the table for breakfast- it's way too precious. A cup of coffee was about 3 ounces- where were the mugs? great location. nice neighborhood, easy parking in back.

Cobb Lane isn’t operating We turned up at Cobb Lane to find that we had been moved to another property. It took us a while to get through to the telephone number on the door and as we arrived to find a Christmas tree in the window of Cobb Lane in February and no one at home it wasn’t a great start! We later discovered that Cobb Lane had been auctioned and as it is still being advertised I’m passing on our experience. Hassinger Mansion - the alternative that we were offered - I’d give four stars. It’s a beautifully renovated house full of museum pieces!

Very Charming The home is lovely and so was the inn keeper. I love the location. I ate at a fabulous oyster bar around the corner. Next time I will pay a little more than the $99 and try a different room, only because the street lights were very bright in the serephine room, ( which is otherwise perfect).

Couldn’t be friendlier I would definitely stay here again. Visited on a chilly December night and found this place to be cozy, charming and full of character. The host was so friendly and made us feel at home, she even had baking at the front door! There is parking in the rear which is a nice change from paying extortionate valet charges elsewhere. The rooms were comfortable and well kept. The breakfast was a highlight for me with the homely old time decor a close second.
