Howard Johnson by Wyndham Blackwood Near Philadelphia

Great Stay I was very pleasantly surprised how nice my stay was. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I was able to park just a few feet from my room (108.) Check in took just a couple minutes. Room seemed fairly modern. The size of the room and bathroom were bigger then average. There were two doors to outside, one to parking lot and another to a courtyard with private patio. Hard floor. Bed provided a good night's sleep. Nice easy to control HVAC This was my second stay here, the first being in the early 90s. Its better now then then.

Stay any day and relax Softest bed with super white crisp clean sheets. I love it here and so does the dog. Breakfast was ready and waiting when you woke up, and we even made our own special waffles. The girls at the desk are super sweet and do anything they can to help!

Nice Stay I bookd this hotel while in transit to my destination. The rooms are quite spacious and was very clean. The front desk staff was very nice and quick about helping me get checked in. There is an oversized tub in the bathroom along with a shower. I love the decor of the room but the balcony could use a cleaning. Overall it was a nice stay, but keep in mind that the elevator is at the far end of the hotel in the room I was given. I was on the top floor so it was a long trip getting my stuff to the room. I would defintely stay again.

Nice hotel shame about breakfast The room was nice and clean . Hotel was clean . Only problem was when they say you get breakfast it's frist come frist served. When thing was empty never fulled up . I could understand when the hotel wasn't full . But then you have a full hotel everyone should have a chance to have what they want at breakfast. I asked if the things can be filled up . The person doing the breakfast she never fulled up . At one point she put the bread away like we couldn't have it

SHOCKING; usb lamp shorts out SPARKS FLY; near miss of electrocution !I was lucky and holding the plastic USB double rocker lamp (with no bottom and exposed wires , tried to use, immediately shorted , created a HUGE spark,, shot some sparks at me , on ground , and lampshade! Luckily I was holding plastic part of lamp ; then suddenly smell burns wires , black burn marks on nightstand , wires, lampshade , and me THIS WAS NOT GROUNDED! Have pics Hotel did NOTHI G I CANT LEAVE ROOM! Lucky not electrocuted because I held plastic middle part HAD I PLUGGED MY DEVICE DIRECTLY INTO THE OVERLOADED PORT, I am sure id have been very hurt or could have DIED NOT ONE APPOLOGY EVERYONE IS RUDE I expect my night and next one comped , and I will respond by making sure there treated as I was! I gave them all night and morning nothing fire marshalls, code , compliance , and not to mention hotel burnt down in 2021!! I EXPECT NOTHING LESS THAN EMPATHY CREDIT FOR MY STAY, the next two nights, and they are negligible for upkeep maintenance man was CONFRONTATIONAL , and my husband felt threatened! He clenched his fists as he replaced the lamp only while mumbling and put his one fist up and cursed He did NOT EVEN test the outlet this clearly has not been , maintained kept up to code This prob isn't the only lamp that needs inspection I am awaiting response and have images and contacts for corporate I was not even treated kindly at check in !! Charged more for a booking issue but has confirmation , then both stafff members proceeded to yell and accuse of not stating I had a dog; meanwhile on my crutches from my broken foot I've stayed here so am aware of the 25 fee and let me HAVE A CHANCE AND NEXT TIME HONOR A PRICE QUOTE WYNDHAM THIS IS SAFETY and compliance issue, not even an apology , no call I see credits given for the stay over simple faulty pilpes THIS response needs to be appropriate; actions , hotel credit ; appropriate steps by you must be taken I am now afraid , haven't left my room and have had an awful birthday stay Two nights were planned , possibly 3 D Timm 8564491246
