Highly disappointed, given the price Not a great experience, overall. Were we able to sleep fairly comfortably without too many problems? Yes. Was it what I would have expected for paying $100+ a night. Not at all. The room vaguely smelled of cigarette smoke and the complimentary breakfast was mostly cold (and the staff insisting it was not, even though we actually put the food and drinks in our mouths, which indicated otherwise) with only unhealthy options that gave me, let's say, digestive problems for the next two days. Had this place been in the $60-$70 range, I might have given it 3 stars, but for the price, it was highly disappointing.

My stay was excellent I stayed there because it was close to the hospital and got good reviews. Jacob was most helpful and patient answering my many questions (haven't booked a hotel in many years) and they offered shuttle service to the hospital for my procedure. Madison was very nice at checkout - I couldn't remember their names so when i called to get information Emery was very helpful. The room was nice clean comfortable and the hotel amenities were excellent. If I had to stay in the Bloomington area again, I would stay here. I wish all hotels were this nice and workers were as exceptional as here.

Average stay. My stay was good till the last morning. I found a roach on my bathroom floor. i went through my belonging to my sure that I was taking any with me. the bar was nice to have on site. the breakfast was very good.

Terrible experience. “ I hate to be this person but as someone who has worked the front desk of a hotel I HAVE to because this experience was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. I will never stay at Eastland Suites Hotel & Conference Center Bloomington Normal again. 1. There were people outside yelling around 10pm. (Okay - it’s 10pm on a weekend. Whatever) would’ve been a non issue except…. 2. At 12am some people decided to throw a hotel party until 2am with music so loud the white noise I played didn’t drowned out the music and I told the front office the next morning and whoever I spoke with said she could give me a $30 refund (which I never received). And after looking at the reviews afterwards it seems like this is a common issue for them that they have gotten many complaints for. AND AGAIN - I WOULD NOT HAVE EVEN MADE THIS AN ISSUE IF THE REST DID NOT HAPPEN. 3. I checked out Sunday morning and only stayed one night ( Saturday to Sunday) but got a call Tuesday morning from the front office telling me that I needed to pay the remainder of my balance from my stay that they claimed I extended until Tuesday (mind you I had already paid for the one night) and if I didn’t pay they would hate to have to take “legal action”. 4. I called back immediately and the girl I spoke to apologized and said they actually did have in the system that I texted them like I was instructed to via their text system that I checked out and she’d take care of it for me and that I’d get a full refund for my stay due to my experience and that there was nothing needed from me and it would be taken care of. 5. Yesterday I get a call from someone else telling me I need to pay my balance YET AGAIN and I told the man YET AGAIN that I only stayed one night, had both the receipt that I had sent to me, and the text to confirm that they acknowledged me checking out and he was like “okay, this wasn’t communicated to me” and AGAIN - I worked at a hotel so it’s clear that nobody is adding notes on the accounts or communicating between shift changes. 6. I called after I got off work yesterday to confirm that this has been handled and inquired about my refund to which I was told I wouldn’t be getting ANY type of refund. All around a terrible experience. I show a lot of grace because I worked in the hospitality industry for YEARS but there’s only so much grace I can give when I’ve performed the job myself. Do better. ❤️”

Eastland Suites comes to our rescue! After Holiday Inn “screwed up” our reservations (and the staff at the Holiday Inn & Suites -airport wouldn’t help us resolve our dilemma). We found Eastland Suites online and they had a room for us. The staff was beyond friendly, the room was immaculate and the price was $100.00 less than Holiday Inn & Suites. I will now call Eastland Suites first when I need accommodations in Bloomington again
