Needs some work I want to love this hotel, but it’s just not up to the price you pay to stay. The beach is nice, but it could use some new chairs and fixing of the umbrellas or even just a good wipe down of chairs. Pool was ok, dirty, it needed a good clean as well but the area is nice. The gym is good. Our room was ok,dusty with some cobwebs. Patio was dirty and needed to be swept. The food was subpar at best. $15 for a “buffet” for breakfast which was what you would get for free at most chain hotels. The windjammer food was similar to what you’d get at a gas station. It’s a shame because the location is great. With some elbow grease and a decent restaurant it could be really nice.

Do not recommend! So disappointing! Our whole family booked rooms for the 4th. Our room was ok, but the ac unit smelled horrible. Like urine. My brother checked in to find his toilet, shall we say, used. My daughter's room had no water pressure, room was dirty, coffee pot did not work and shower drained so slowly there was 2 inches of water standing. She has 2 children so that was not comfortable at all. We were required to book 3 nights due to the holiday and 2 of 4 families left early. For the price we paid, everything should have been so much better. Last. We all had to chase down maids to get clean towels and toilet paper each day. Not blaming the maids as they were most likely overworked and underpaid. We ate once in the restaurant and service was good, but food just average, not hot. Parking was horrendous. If you moved your car, you had to walk forever to get back. All in all, NOT a good experience.. will not stay again at any price. By the way, there was no survey and front desk did not inquire about our satisfaction when checking out.

Thanks Angie and Dan We went to Fourwinds for the Total Eclipse with a group of 28 family and friends. The Fourwinds staff that helped us with our catered meals were fantastic. Dan and Angie were the event specialists that catered to our every need. They were so helpful and paid attention to our every need. The catered food was delicious, the hotel was very beautiful and clean. Thanks Angie and Dan for a very special Eclipse weekend with the most beautiful celestial event!

Great views, area - decent stay We stayed at the end of March, 2024. The resort was a little dated, but nice. We loved the view of Lake Monroe. The pool was great. And, if you go before April 1st, you're able to fish off of the dock which was quite fun. In three days we caught about 50 crappie (all pretty small) from the docks. Boat rentals were not available until April 1st, so we missed out on that, but we still had a great stay. There are two very nice golf courses near by. Eagle Pointe is about a four minute drive and Stone Crest is around 8-10 minutes. Our family played at Stone Crest because it was considerably cheaper. It was a nice course. We did have a few issues with the Inn itself. The breakfast was pathetic. Maybe it was because we were there in the offseason, but the only thing available was Cheerios, Corn Flakes, bagels, muffins and on one day, instant oatmeal (they didn't have any the next two days we were there). Another issue we didn't particularly like is that one of our beds was completely off its frame. We had to take the box spring and mattress off and fix the frame ourselves. Another issue is that we were staying Thurs-Sun and we were given one roll of toilet paper for a double room. We asked at the front desk for more and was given a partial roll. We asked two more times before we were actually given such a basic necessity. The final thing was that there are signs posted that if you need a late checkout, to advise the staff ahead of time. We were leaving on Easter Sunday and planned on going to church first and then paying for the Easter brunch at the Inn. When I asked for a late checkout I was told that I had to ask the day of checkout. So on the day of checkout I asked and was simply told no, they don't do that. The Inn was not even 1/8 full, but they were unwilling to accommodate us to be able to pay them to eat at their establishment. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay and the area.

Decent property - scenic location, but... This property was probably very nice during it's day. Unfortunately its not well kept. Like our room was not clean. Little attention to detail. Could find dust anywhere you looked. Fitted sheets did not fit bed - too small. It's not bad just not what we expected for what we paid. The hotel lists "breathtaking views." At least they have a sense of humor. Customer service needs help.
