Tiny bath facilities; otherwise comfortable Comfortable room. Pleasant staff. Nice stay. The only downsides have to do with the bathroom. The sink and counter are tiny and seriously just inside the door. The toilet and shower are in a tiny room behind the sink. I’m also not a fan of Dove shampoo and body wash; the make me smell like a little old lady—and they don’t rinse the best. We were there for two nights and purchased the 8.99 breakfast one day. The offering was comparable to better free breakfast offerings. But they did offer cantaloupe and honey dew. Good coffee. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Long term parking listed as an option is a scam We wanted a hotel that offered long term parking & and an airport shuttle. After researching several different options the Holiday Inn MSP seemed to have the best deal. The website indicates a free shuttle. Parking cost for guests was 8 free days, $10/for each additional day. Perfect, right? I booked using credit card miles. When I checked in I asked if she needed my car info & what the shuttle schedule was. I was told I did not book "park n fly" with my Expedia reservation. I was confused, as I booked on the United Airlines site. My confirmation came from United-- I had nothing from Expedia. Not wanting to get into a fight, I asked the cost assuming it would be less than parking @ the airport. I was told not an option. I was told I could cancel my reservation (losing my miles) and rebook, then I could get the parking. I did not agree to that option. When I got in my room I looked at the Expedia website. I was thinking maybe United used a 3rd party for the reservation? Anyway, I tried to book the same room we had just to see the cost. I could easily pick the same room, but there was no option to add "park n fly". I went to the hotel website and tried the same thing-- price was the same as on Expedia-- again, no option to add parking. No explanation on hotel website on how to add parking. However, under their list of amenities they list "free airport shuttle service". Why would shuttle service be offered if you can't leave your car?? Additional cost to our trip vs what we thought it would be? $260. If you are looking for long term parking DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! Next door, The Hilton Garden Inn offered us a parking spot, however we had to pay $20/night as we weren't guests. This was still a savings of about $65. I do have to say the room at the Holiday Inn, (king bed) was clean, but very small. TV has only analog stations (about 20). Skip this hotel -- try the Hilton Garden Inn next door.

Don't get any sleep here I stayed for a park and drive package. The hotel clerk was too busy flirting to manage my stay, then told me I should park "out back" and that I could get in that way. Wrong. You couldn't get in without a key card. I came back, terrifically jetlagged. The night staff was great; even had a guy waiting for me at the airport, although they had confounded the very plain reservation. However, cleaning staff knocked on my door starting at 8:45 AM! Really? For jet-lag. Avoid!

Nice Holiday Inn, Great Employees We took our twin six-year-old granddaughters here for a staycation and had a wonderful time. The girls loved the pool and hot tub-- both which worked well and were good temperatures. (That is a rarity at many hotels these days.) The hotel breakfast isn't free, but if you buy passes at the front desk the day before, breakfast is about $8 per person and kids 11 and under eat free. For that price it was a good breakfast buffet: well-stocked and helpful employee. The front desk crew are pleasant and helpful. Yes. We will be staying here again.

Stale smoke and rusty bathroom fixtures. Stayed for two nights in a 2 room suite for a family get away. The room was nice size but stunk of old stale smoke and the smell overtook you every time we walked into the room. Room was clean, but lots of rust on ceiling above shower and rust on other bathroom fixtures. Breakfast was above average and the pool was warm with plenty of towels. No one asked how our stay was when we checked out. When we got home all of our clean clothes stunk of old smoke and had to be washed. Overall pretty disappointing.
