I don’t get it…. I’m going to start by saying the staff were all kind and helpful. The room was clean, however it was a non smoking room that smelled of smoke. In fairness, I was asked if I would like to move my room. There are no glass or plastic cups in the room, no in-room fridge, an older flat screen TV, the soda machine in hall was broken. The indoor pool needs a good cleaning and the water was ice cold. Though called a farm hotel, the rooms and the feel is quite contemporary and more conference center than hotel. The bar seems to be an afterthought, not much attention to detail and a disinterested bar tender. If you are looking for an old world “farmhouse” feel, check out the Joseph Ambler Inn close by.

Outstanding place! From booking to checkout this was an excellent experience. The facilities were exceptionally clean. Our room was well equipped, quiet and relaxing. King size bed was very comfortable, and just firm enough. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and both times we used them there was no one else there. Plenty of fluffy towels on the shelves nearby and great lounging furniture. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Not sure how they got the bacon that perfect, but glad they did! The history of this facility is amazing. Lots of converted buildings that make it feel like you’re staying in someone’s luxurious home. Highly recommended!!

Has everything! We really enjoyed our weekend as a couple at the Normandy! It was a perfect getaway weekend from the friendly staff at the front desk to the wonderful service staff at the Farmers Daughter restaurant within the hotel. We were greeted with flowers and chocolate strawberries because it was a special event we were celebrating. The staff is super thoughtful, hotel is very clean and the food is delicious. The suite we stayed in was very modern and has been recently updated. It is a one stop shop for any trip, getaway or event!

Disappointing Experience-Awful I’ve stayed at nicer budget hotels. Room was run down, used tissues behind nightstand, housekeeping never came in (over 4 nights we stayed there) bed was the worst - mattress was very worn and impossible to get good rest on, hot breakfast is based on occupancy so not a given, restaurant was noisy and food overpriced, no complimentary coffee in the lobby. Rooms were cheaply furnished and linens were thin, tiny tv with limited channels, no amenities. This hotel is not what’s advertised. Used to be known for luxury. Now the only thing luxury is the price. Will never stay here again.

Old rooms and slow service. The rooms are extremely old with cheap furnishings. Much more like a motel than a hotel. Carpeting is old and gray. Not conducive for a business meeting. Food is so so and service is very slow. Too far from the airport. Would not come here again.
