Benchmark of quality guest care! Went up to Blairsville to escape hurricane Milton. Had some business to attend to at the same time. From our past experience, some of which were not so great, we decided to stay a little further away in Blue Ridge at the Comfort Inn and Suites. We have found all hotel chains to be rather inconsistent in quality because they are all individually franchised and some franchisees take more pride and an active role in the people they hire and the hotel that they present. I must say of every hotel we’ve ever stayed at including some much more expensive ones this particular Comfort Inn &Suites was the best experience of all! From the greeting at the front desk by Mark, Allison, and Julie, to the wonderful staff taking care of the breakfasts, and making the rooms meticulously, clean and neat, they all set of standard that will be very hard to beat! They are kindness and their accommodation to myself and my wife set a benchmark in quality service to guests. We look forward to staying there again in the near future. Congratulations to all of you! You are the best!

Terrible experience Terrible experience! Our $270 room (the king bed & queen bed suite) reeked of cigarettes. When I told the front desk, they said they'd spray. When we got back after dinner, you could smell the room in the hallway. It smelled like they dumped bottles of industrial febreze in the room; anyone would've gotten a headache within 10 minutes of being in that room. Their solution was to move us to a different room (with a king bed & a pull-out couch) and the pull-out couch mattress had poop stains on it. Their solution after that was to provide a cot (for 2 grown adults to sleep on), and refused another room. They ended up only refunding us $80 out of the $270.

If you like coffee, stay somewhere else. I tried, I swear I tried. I forgave the mystery stain and random crusty on the sheets - as the staff handled it well. I didn’t get upset that the AC short cycled all night (kept me from being under the sheet). I didn’t even mind the doggy smell of the room. But the liquid concentrated brown water dispenser they call coffee was all I could take. I mean come on! How hard is it to brew coffee? I looked these things up and they cost $1500 and the concentrated coffee mix is expensive too. So here comes the review. The hotel presents well and the lady at the check in was very very helpful and friendly. She gave me a comforter when I thought that had the mystery stain, I went back and she gave me new sheets when I realized that was the problem. The room was spacious and minders, it smelled a little doggy. I think this place is now pet friendly and learned later when the AC didn’t work, that was probably part of the smell. We got our kids in bed and I went to turn on the AC and it started short cycling. Well, we were already committed to the room so we just dealt with it. Then I woke up and while the breakfast was pretty standard, I found the brown coffee juice. Think I’ll stay at the Hampton Inn in downtown Blue Ridge next time and see if they can at least give me a decent cup of Joe.

Solid choice for BR As requested we were given adjacent rooms for our family. The rooms were clean, and we actually had a nice view. The staff was friendly, and free breakfast is always a good thing. The location was very convenient. For this type of hotel, 5 stars all day long.
