Nice views This lodge is beautiful! The location is nice. Not on the beach but great views. I really love the hot tub and tea/coffee options. The rooms are a good size and well maintained. The restaurant is very good but expensive. They have a nice wine hour and lots of games in the lounge area.

Great location overlooking the Bay A very generously laid out lodge place overlooking the Bay a little south of the town centre. I personally enjoyed the warm welcome and the spacious room including balcony overlooking the bay and the outstanding breakfast at the restaurant. Comfort of my room was great including bed - had a very relaxing night.

Relaxing, Rejuvenating, and Restful Visited this property for my sister’s 40th and did a siblings trip. Stayed in the Captain’s Quarters which was perfect. Great food at Drakes and in the surrounding local towns, oysters galore! We had such a nice time biking around the grounds, I took a run down the beach, and the spa treatments were amazing! Staff were so friendly and welcoming and really took care of us. Thank you!

Musty old rooms. Need updating. Definitely not 4*. Fabric headboard was dirty. Didn’t want to lean against it. Towels in bathroom flimsy and small. So much Fabreze spray used to make the old carpets smell fresh that it made the room musty smelling. All of the furniture is beaten up or scratched. All in all an under maintained old Best Western Hotel (so we were told by staff members). Staff were helpful and grounds are pretty. Wouldn’t stay there again unless things changed.
