PROPERTY CLOSED The Safari Inn was an inexpensive, very well-located downtown go-to for me many times over the years. Sadly, it is no more. Unsure whether it will be another hotel, as they are advertising, or apartments as several locals seem to hint at. The closest hotel is the hotel 43 across the street (from where I am writing this).

An inexpensive place to crash downtown I opted to stay here for a conference because it was $50 less per night than the conference hotel. Since I never spend a great deal of time in my room, this was fine. Hot shower, soft warm bed, and nice breakfast. I was going to skip breakfast because it looked like it was just cereal and toast BUT I was delighted to see the ingredients to make breakfast sandwiches in the little fridge! Major bonus. The airport pickup and drop-off was very much appreciated. This place was exactly what I needed it to be: a place to sleep that was walking distance to my conference. It was a bit noisy (by the road, thin walls) but I was so exhausted it didn't matter. It could do with some modern conveniences (more plugs, mostly), at the same time, it doesn't really need them.

Not bad, but not that Gr8 either! Just ok! I came & stayed 4 3 nights ___Despite the name, there’s really not much Safari about this place! Just a cartoonish giraffe _ statue in the lobby! It’s in an old building. Old hallways & elevators _However, the rooms r updated & modern which is a plus! There’s good vending machines in the buildings as well. They have breakfast in the kitchen adjoining the lobby from 6 am- 10 am. I 8 there 1 of the mornings. The food was good, but all I had was a couple English muffins wit’ different jams & a tiny pl8 full of mini donuts _ _. Not that big of a selection! The staff were friendly enough, so no complaints there! The location is convenient. The Safari Inn Downtown was good, but not that good!

Fantastic Customer Service! I had a great stay at the Safari Inn. They were friendly, efficient, and helpful throughout the 4 days I was there. I forgot my passport in my room and didn't realize until I was all the back in California. As soon as I called reception, they had my passport in the mail on its way to my address. Thank you so much for all of your help!!

USA west square dance We came to Boise for the USA west square dance convention. This was easily within walking distance of the convention center. It was adequate and convenient. The room was comfortable. Parking is tight, the breakfast is nothing to write home about.
