Tourist trap We booked our stay at a five star hotel, but this is a pure tourist trap!!! We ended up in a location at 1.5 km at Chateau Le Thil. This information is only shared after making the reservation (and in my case after paying). The room was dirty, bed was poor (it even moved when you went into it) and service was not existing. Upon arrival, we explained that this is not acceptable and not a five star accommodation. It was very clear that the staff is aware of this problem and doesn’t give about this situation. Money continues to come in and that’s what counts for them. So make sure that you stay in Les Sources (and not in Le Thil).

Luxury at it's Finest, but Casual and Comfortable A 5+ Star hotel with exceptional grounds and facilities. A wonderful, friendly and inviting staff. Family friendly, but great for couples as well. Two Delicious restaurants and a wine bar on site. Large comfortable rooms. A wonderful stay and HIGHLY recommended.

5 star hotel in the middle of a Grand Cru Winery We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Caudalie. The grounds and overall hotel is stunning. The service was excellent from the bellmen to the front desk. It was my first chance to eat at 2 star Michelin restaurant outside of the US and the experience was beyond anything I could have imagined. The rooms are spacious and bright and the bed was very comfortable. They provide bikes and e-bikes to tour around the beautiful area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for upscale service, accommodations, and access to a highly rating winery.

Gem of a hotel, life in a chateau La Chatreuse du Chateau Le Thil is Les Sources' hidden gem, an elegant mini-chateau a 15 minute walk from the main hotel/restaurant. More relaxed than the spa-hotel it feels as if you are a world away -we're so pleased that we stayed here. The room was large, gracious and extremely well-thought out with everything we could need. The bed was very comfortable with proper linen linen! Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and served in the wood-pannelled dining room looking out onto the lawns. There are bikes to get around between le Thil and the main hotel or just bimble around the vinyards. This was a combined birthday/anniversary visit so I'd asked the restaurant at the main hotel for a table on the terrace - not only did we have a super table (inside, wretched weather) but the message had been passed throughout the hotel/le THil and everyone wished us well which was a lovely touch.

Les Sources de Caudalie - Chateau Le Til - Very disappointing Stayed with friends from 1st - 3rd. Marketed as 5 star but shouldn't be, we had a very disappointing stay
- No WiFi despite informing the main hotel reception twice
- No way to transfer between main hotel and Chateau le Til unless you have a car, bicycles available but not much use if you have luggage can only be done by external taxi. Only advised of this the day before we arrived.
- No evening turn down services we spoke to main reception after the first night and it is offered and was told it would be done that evening but it wasn't.
- No fresh towels in the morning we left
- First night amenities missing from room (no tea, sugar, milk)
- On last night (2nd) one of our party shower flooded, no maintenance to fix despite notification, we ask to speak to the manager who was not available on the evening of the 2nd, arranged to meet them 9.30am on 3rd, they informed us at 9.15am that they could not meet us and provided a note stating a 15% discount handed to us by the lady who served breakfast (which put her in a difficult position).
- Pre-dinner ordered 2nd wine of Haut Smith and waiter brought a different wine that was 300% more expensive, we corrected the waiter on this.
Overall poor service, not very helpful staff and experience of being treated like 2nd class citizens if you stay at Chateua Le Til.
Real shame.
