Embassy Suites Boston Logan Airport

Beware of overcharging for rooms! We stayed here for convenience as it was our stay for Day 1 of our bus charter and we arrived 2 days early (Sept. 16/17). Look at your invoice very carefully when checking out. Our charge for 1st night $384.44 plus tax, charge for 2nd night $1,459.21 plus tax! I realize it is common to have different rates, especially on weekends but there was no way our rate should have been $1,074.77+ on Thursday compared to Wednesday night! **Note: another person on our bus tour was also overcharged a significant amount but managed to sort her refund out at the desk. I thought it was very curious how two people from the same tour were ripped off like this and thank goodness I asked for the room receipt. When I mentioned this to the desk clerk at check out I was told with a shrug, that's the way it is, too bad! I produced my quote for $980.00 and change for the 2 nights and he just stared at it indifferently. I asked him to make a copy for his records and to give me the manager's name as apparently she was not in according to him. He disappeared for about 5 minutes and came back tossing my paper at me with a business card quickly dismissing me and moving onto the next person in line. Our bus was leaving so I didn't have time to finish this. One call we were told that our bank blocked the refund to my Visa card! Ridiculous, but I did check it out with my bank to confirm. No way would a bank ever do that - just a lie. I did receive a 6 am call one morning but it hung up before I could get to my phone. Apparently the staff does not realize the 3-hour time difference between Boston and Vancouver, BC. Fast forward, after many phone calls and being put on hold for 10 minutes listening to elevator music, costing us long distance rates we have sorted this out as of October 5 I think. I am told to wait 10-15 days to see the refund to my Visa card. Also beds were lumpy and very uncomfortable. The front desk staff are disrespectful and uneducated! I am appalled at the way guests are treated by this hotel. I will never recommend this hotel. It wasn't that convenient to the T either; we walked about a mile to get there to go downtown.

Convenience at a price Pros: convenient to airport with shuttle. Clean and quiet. Cons: pricey, but fairly competitive with area options. AC in room was problem. Was so noisy, it woke me up. Turned it off to finally get some sleep. Breakfast, which used to be exceptional at ES, is close to being Hampton Inn with a guy cooking omelets. No nuts for oatmeal. They will sell you a sweet roll outside of breakfast area, but no longer included with breakfast. In hindsight, I would have booked a less costly hotel farther from the airport and taken a Lyft.

Outstanding service Our flight was scheduled to arrive late and we wanted to leave the next day, so we chose this hotel because of its proximity to the car rental pickup. Our suite was clean and spacious and the breakfast was good. What really stood out was the courtesy of the staff. The check in clerk was efficient and friendly, but Angel O, who was not a bellhop, went above and beyond by helping me with my luggage as I struggled with my luggage and grandson in a stroller.

Not as good as it should be Not as good as it should be. Just cancelled my already booked stay in 10 days on top. Expensive hotel which isn’t worth it. Positive: breakfast and staff there, also bar man very good. Negative: only 2 of 3 receptionists friendly, 3 d one not helpful at all and even arrogant. As diamond member you always receive worldwide in Hilton hotels special attention and appreciations, but not at this one. Room facing the airport: very noisy, windows are insufficient to for noise reduction. For my 3 days stay there were not able to move my room to a more quiet area. Shuttle service insufficient, you have to call the receptionist and have to:wait, for me it was 3p and 20 minutes, so we decided to walk

Great stay It was a large room nice refrigerator two queen size beds of pull out couch sofa bed microwave as well the AC was great breakfast could be better but was good lots to offer. I stayed local with my family to enjoy the hot tub and the pool was quite enjoyable
