XV Beacon Customer 0 Terrible experience. From the rude valets who complained about carrying bags (pardon me for assuming that was their job) to the small tired room with an old dirty carpet, run don’t walk away from XV Beacon. Obviously, it is a terrible place to work as all of the people there are so unhappy. Matt at the front desk was so nasty, I felt sorry for him and regretted giving business to an establishment that created such an unpleasant working environment. XV Beacon…major fail at the attempt to be a cool, city boutique hotel.

A Beautiful Boutique Hotel on Beacon Hill with a Stellar Staff We had a really enjoyable stay at the the XV Beacon, thanks especially to the wonderful and talented staff of the hotel who made our time in Boston so special and memorable. Everyone at the hotel, without exception, was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Special commendations go to our fantastic concierge, David, and our driver/knowledgeable tour guide, Mark. The hotel offers free car service to local restaurants and locations, which was an unexpected and very welcome amenity. Mooo, the adjoining restaurant, served amazing breakfasts and lived up to its reputation as one of the best, most popular steak restaurants in Boston. The hotel room was spacious, well-appointed, immaculately clean, and very comfortable in all respects. Overall a top-notch location and experience, and we look forward to returning to XV Beacon on our future travels to Boston.

Only place to stay inside Boston The rooms are very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. Staff are, to a person, attentive. Special recognition is owed to the overnight clerk and the Lexus drivers. Housekeepers are very organised and proficient. Concierges have good knowledge bases and memories.

Wonderful Mini-Vacation Wonderful overnight stay. We needed a mini-vacation and XV Beacon did a wonderful job from the moment we pulled up at valet until we departed. Prompt room service, a Lexus transport to/from dinner, and nice greetings throughout our stay. We did not want to leave! I had stayed here 20 years ago when it first opened and they have not missed a step at all.

5 star Hotel coupled with one of the best steak houses in the USA! This gem is located steps from the Boston Common and from the moment we arrived we were treated to service above and beyond our expectations. Doormen await to assist with our luggage and car park. The front desk employees could not have been nicer in the most genuine way, authentic and not forced. Our room was beautiful as always and as clean and comfortable as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. From the Italian tiled rain forrest shower to the espresso machine and a lovely warm bed, we couldn't have asked for more! An exceptional dining room awaited us and though a busy Friday night the attention to detailed service was equaled by outstanding food at the restaurant Mooo, appetizers, entrees, and desert were over the top. An elegant dining room that was clearly popular, this was the crowning jewel of our stay. We can't recommend XV Beacon any more for the discerning visitors to the greatest city in the world!
