Classy Hotel in a super location! The Newbury hotel is our favorite place to stay! Our family of five travels back to Boston often (after relocating) and this has truly become like our second home in Boston! This location in Boston and on Newbury street is second to none! Enjoy!

Best in Boston Perfect location with upmost service and amenities.. Newbury is by far the best hotel in Boston if you’re looking for exclusive and boutique attitude. The staff, restaurants, overall quality is not comparable. You immediately sense the quality by the guest profile which is absolutely different than others. House quality services and perfect staff..

Ultra Stylish Boutique Hotel. With super style, the Newbury overlooks the historic Boston Public Garden and Back Bay Brownstones and is situated on one of Boston's most picturesque corners. My gracious Grande Suite was on the park side with far flung views of the downtown skyline. The space boasts of a separate living room with a large bay window and walk-in closet. The accommodations occupied a spacious footprint with a bath equally spacious and equipped with a separate tub. The Newbury's sultry rooftop restaurant, the Contessa, serves up Northern Italian dishes, Aperitive Martini's and Stellar Desserts. From the standout menu I selected Crispy Calamari, Spicey Lobster Capellini, Spritz Contessa and Creme di Boston for dessert.........all savory items. Ground level 'Street Bar' is another source of creative cocktails......... the property lacks a spa but furnishes a comprehensive 1500 sq. ft. fitness center. So, if a sultry rooftop bar overlooking the Boston Public Garden is your desire................ ..........then try the...........Newbury Boston.......ultra stylish boutique hotel.

Mostly wonderful, client services improvements needed This is tough to write because so much about the Newbury Hotel is wonderful. When we lived in Boston, the Newbury was where our family and friends stayed when visiting and where we often enjoyed after-work cocktails at The Street Bar or dinner at Contessa. Since we moved, we naturally chose to stay at the Newbury when visiting Boston. As expected, the room was wonderful, the room service was excellent, and the Street Bar / Library staff continued to exceed expectations. We chose to use the room checkout option, and in hindsight, we should have reviewed the hotel folio downstairs before leaving. Unfortunately, we encountered a valet issue: we were accidentally charged for someone else’s vehicle in addition to ours. A few hours later, after receiving the itemized receipt, we noticed the incorrect charge and called to have it corrected. Unfortunately, we had to call twice and send an email, and each time we were promised that the onsite manager would promptly return our call, which did not and has not happened. To be frank, I expected better customer service from a LHW hotel and The Newbury.
