Perfect location, great rooms, attentive staff Clean and spacious suits, but small bathroom and little shelf space. The bed was big and more than comfortable. Towels were more than enough, but had a slight smell of chlorine. Staff was consistently attentive and friendly. The location is the key selling point - perfect, especially if you have not much time in the city. I enjoyed my stay and would choose the hotel again anytime.

A lovely hotel I actually really loved this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and made getting into my room and getting dinner so easy. The room itself is very Boston/ New England quaint, while also very clean and comfortable. The online check-in and check out made it all even easier. Honestly, I’m just really impressed. I was here for a business trip and ended up having a really lovely evening, pretty much entirely because of this hotel.

Great location The staff is amazing and very polite and accommodating. The area is the best!!!! The best restaurants and stores in Newberry street 2 blocks away and beautiful parks. Easy area to find everything you need stores, mall, shops and beautiful parks to stroll

A great hotel that feels like a home! Great hotel experience!! Very welcoming and in a great location. On beautiful Commonwealth Ave...not far from Fenway Park. The staff treats you like family. Read hotel history...very cool. 1920s with ties to Harvard. Special thank to doorman Jean. He has been there 47 years. That says it all.

Excellent visit Excellent stay, great room with sitting area superb and ideal for relaxing after long days sightseeing. Excellent staff really helpful and friendly . Excellent location for eating, shopping, acres to T system and point for sightseeing tours.
