Similar to a Motel 6 I was very disappointed that the conference that I attended recommended this venue as one of the overflow hotels. The rooms were small and very low quality. The furniture was old and cheap. The door looked like a good wind would blow it away. When I checked in, the hotel worker at the first desk looked exhausted and kept yawning. His red eyes also did not help. He did show me to my room, which was apparently an outside room (like a Motel 6 room). Upon seeing the room, I immediately told him to change my reservation to an "inside" room. When he asked me what was the problem, I told him that the door was flimsy and had a dent and the room looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile. He walked me back to the front desk and gave me the keys to the "best room" in the hotel. This room was supposed to be an upgrade, but it looked like a polyester nightmare. I managed to fall asleep (it was about 1 a.m. at this point) and then checked out in the morning and went to another hotel. There are much nicer hotels in the area and they are worth paying the extra money, especially the ones closer to the mall and restaurants. The hotel does have a pool and a restaurant, but I could not get pass the terrible rooms.

Nice, clean budget hotel I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in September 2014. The rooms are good, spacious and clean. The hotel has free wifi which works well. The morning breakfast is complimentary and quite good. Overall, this is a nice place to stay if you are a business or leisure traveler.

Quirky, green, and a decent value. Landed in Boulder after a cross-country trip from Maine and I remembered a friend telling me about this place. Check-in process was standard, the lobby was cute (in a weird, crazy decor, kind of way) and the front desk person was super friendly and gave us suggestions so we could grab a tasty burger and beer. Our room was what I expected--a bit outdated, but for one night, who really cares about how old the curtains are?! I was pleased at the green efforts in the room, and at the hotel in general. Breakfast was tasty and filling enough to fuel our climb up the flatirons. I'd stay there again.

Okay, but... This place is definitely an older hotel, but in a fairly central location. For Boulder, it's one of the cheaper options available. The pool is right next to the main lobby, so everything reeks of chlorine -- although my room didn't (it was further away than many rooms). Room decor needed updating, but was clean and didn't smell. Would I stay again? I might check other choices first. Breakfast was offered in the bar area.

Awful if you have a kid or pet We were looking for pet friendly accommodations, but we didn't know that would mean the dirtiest, ugliest room possible. We came to Boulder to celebrate my birthday weekend and the hotel was just the beginning of many disappointments in this city. The hotel room had linoleum floors, dated furniture and cigarette burns on the drapes and bedcovers. The price was ridiculous for what we got. If there was anything else available that weekend, we would have left immediately. The restaurant didn't have any highchairs available for the standard free breakfast. The neighboring room partied all night and then vomited in front of our door. It was just awful all around. I had high expectations.
