Long Weekend The rooms have been updated and very clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like is that there are no drawers for clothes storage if you are staying for longer than a couple days. There is a closet. Light switch for the bathroom is behind the bathroom door. But I liked the hotel, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good.

Worst experience ever I'm pretty patient and open minded but this is a terrible place to stay. We traveled over 400 miles to attend a funeral and I had booked online not knowing what it was like. I can over look the construction, that's no big deal but from the moment we got here I knew this was going to be awful. We got in at 3am. The non smoking room smelled of smoke and possibly some kind of cleaner. There were very Visable food stains on one of the bed spreads. It looked like maybe from a child with brightly colored candy. The shower drained so slowly that you stood ankle deep in water the whole shower. The shower walls were covered in filth and handprints. The entry floor had not been swept or mopped either. The second day I took my children to the pool at 7pm where I found 2 adults, the one young lady wearing bra and panties in place of a suit, all wrapped up in the hot tub. Not quite the classy scene I've described. The water in the pool was quite chilly and a window in the ceiling was gone so the room was Fairly cool too. The water definitely needed more chemicals. It even smelled dirty. Apparently this is a place for extended stay guests as there was alot of them. 6am on the day of check out I caught a girl looking in my car windows which fortunately was right outside my room window. Somebody walked by a hit the window Shortly after that. Then some crazy girl acting as if she had been on speed for days was beating on the door across the hall and screaming at it. She would go away and come back every few minutes. I tried calling the front desk twice with no answer. All this happening while we are trying to sleep. I had to get up and drive my family 9 hours home shortly. It was a cheap rate but not cheap enough compared to the quality of my stay. I never felt safe enough to leave my children (ages 12 & 14)alone in the room. I will never step foot in this place again and advise others against it as well.

Great prices We stay here Everytime we pass through on our way to visit family in Michigan. The place is being renovated and the rooms that are renovated are nicely decorated and gadget (iPad,computer, cell phone friendly) they have vastly improved the breakfast area, and the pool area is enormous (ideal for antsy kids to have fun) not a bad room for the price.

Very disappointed. I changed rooms 3X. The first, the fan screamed and toilet did not flush. Every other lightbulb missing as if to save money? The second the heat did not work in the room, every other lightbulb missing and had not been vacuumed. The third, I was so exhausted I settled. The heat worked but obviously had not been turned on in ages because the heater stunk up the room burning the dust off. Same every other lightbulb missing. Musty smell. Kinda creepy too since there was very few guests, but I totally understand why.

Weekend getaway Thank you for making our weekend getaway easy. Your staff was very nice and we really enjoyed the nice indoor pool area. Great for this time of year. We planned it with a young adult going with us and that fell through so it was just the 2 of us and it was well worth it. Maybe have earlier check in times but all was great.
