HARD TO BELIEVE THAT A HOTEL CAN BE THIS AWFUL Dirty Room, Broken Furniture, Burn Marks on Bedding, Clogged Toilet, Filthy Old Refrigerator, After spending 10 minutes in the room I checked out and went to a MARRIOTT. I was happy to spend more money just to get out of there! Most disgusting hotel room I have ever seen. It should be closed down by the Board of Health.

IF zero stars were possible this place would be the poster board. Musty, old smoke smell, old, run down with cockroaches all over the room. Sleep on a park bench instead of this place. I left and did not stay leaving the key at the office requesting the charges be reversed on my card, they were not and are now in dispute.

Homing inn is correct...if your home is a dumpster. My father took me away for my birthday, he booked this hotel in advance, through hotels.ca. We checked into our first room, and there was towels on the floor, the floor was SOAKED, and there was a leak in the ceiling. The room had an offputting smell. There were weird people hanging around, and it felt like a ghetto hotel. We went to the front desk, told them our issue, and the man at the desk switched our room promptly. We go to our second room, and the smell was there as well. There were stains on the chair and couch, dirt/crumbs on the table, and dirt/dust ALL over the baseboards. There was a cable outlet with a wire sticking out and no cover on it. I turn on the tv and (very reluctantly) sat down to watch some tv (the only thing that makes this place better than a dumpster). We spent an hour trying to get onto the internet to no avail. Go in and check out the bathroom and the cupboard door is falling off, there’s grime all over the sink, floors, and fixtures. There was screws sticking out of the door, and bugs on the floor. Go into the bedroom to check the bed and there was little black and brown spots (an indicator of bed bugs) and little bug shells in the seams of the mattress. At this point my dad had been to reception 3 times to figure out the internet. Staff was rude about the internet, wouldn’t help out with anything. We asked for a refund and the woman said she can’t do refunds. We decided to take the loss and go to a motel 6, we will be complaining to hotels.ca to hopefully get a refund. I’m just glad we got out of there before we got eaten alive by the bugs! I went back in to the room to take pictures and got pictures of 2 different bugs in 2 different areas within about 30 seconds of each other. :(

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Checking in was fine and can't fault the reception staff, they were pleasant and obliging. On approaching our room there was a noisy group of people sitting on the car park kerb who sent a child over and asked for money. Straight away we were a little uneasy and felt slightly intimidated and concerned for our safety and that of our property. We entered our room to find it poorly decorated, very, very basic with a mis-match of furniture, some items with paint stains on them, the fridge unclean, the bed made up with a cigarette burn in the sheet, ill-fitted front door and generally worn and tired, in need of a thorough clean and refit. We decided this wasn't for us and left, and would not be able to recommend it as a suitable place to stay.

Never again I had a last minute business meet I needed to stay overnight for. I would have been better off in my car. The T.V. had no outlet plug and the wall air unit was disgusting and filthy and broken. It took forever to cool the room. Don't think I will be making a stay here again.
