Heaven and Hot Macaroons My sister and I LOVED this motel! The care and love the owner takes with the inn her father built is apparent all around you. The rooms are spacious and comfy and surprisingly quiet considering the motel is on a main street (but set back a bit). The unusual glass fronts and doors are heavy and insulated and the only noise I recall was once in two days when a neighbor shut their door too hard. The a/c is efficient and provided what I thought was an acceptable white noise, as well. The pool/spa area is enchanting, as most reviews will mention - worth coming here by itself. But don't miss the lobby and outdoor seating spaces, which are cozy and inviting (with great music from Sinatra and Ella to Patsy Cline). There are artful objects everywhere AND there are usually nice treats around, from candies to home-made cookies. One afternoon Lisa, the owner, greeted us with hot fresh coconut/white chocolate macaroons! (not macarons) What heaven. Sis and I plan to return to Bozeman from out of state mainly to stay here again, it was that pleasant! There IS a good, modern elevator to all floors. Lisa and Sarah really made the stay special. The location is convenient to walk downtown to stores, coffee-shops, and restaurants. Grocery stores are in easy reach with a car.

A pleasant experience that makes one want to return for another stay. This is my third stay at Lewis and Clark Motel and it gets better with each stay. Each room is tastefully decorated with a microwave and small refrigerator to keep things cool. They have a wonderful pool and sauna as well workout equipment. Fresh coffee and continental breakfast is made available each morning. Snacks and drinks can be purchased in the gift shop. The lobby changes in appearance according to the time of year or holiday. If you are lucky enough to stay in December you will see over 900 Nutcrackers on display in the lobby. The staff is very attentive to ones needs. It is privately owned and it shows in the care they take to make your visit one you won't forget. I highly recommend staying there is you want a place to stay that has a home away from home feel and not some corporate hotel or motel.

An Absolute Gem in Bozeman We booked this room through Hotwire and were a little nervous when we saw the word “motel” in the reveal. Any misgivings were quickly put to rest after reading other travelers’ reviews & upon our arrival. From the moment we checked in, Lisa and Brian were the epitome of what it means to have great customer service. The rooms are a little dated, but they were so clean and comfy. The pool and spa area were absolutely luxurious after a long day of travel, and the little touches like shuttle availability, snacks in the lobby and games to check out made it the experience top notch. Would definitely stay here again!

Bozeman Gem Motel OMG! Talk about a JEM! I could go and on about this motel. Amazing staff ( the owners I suspect), the gift shop and lobby, the Las Vegas Rat Pack music playing outside the rooms, the gorgeous pool and spa area, and last but least~~~~ THE CLEANLINESS! We were impressed from the minute we pulled up. Flowers being planted, no trash in parking lot, and a mirrored elevator with ZERO HAND PRINTS! The room was fresh smelling, absolutely dust free, and CLEAN! No dust bunnies or webs on the ceilings, no dust in the corners on floors, no hairs in the bathroom and no dust in the bathroom fan!! Unbelievable. Soft 500 thread count sheets....smelling of 100% CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! Comfortable beds. I honestly cannot say enough about this motel. The only tiny thing is that the bathrooms is small and the showerhead would not work for anyone over 5'9...... it is pretty low on the wall. But when I'm at a hotel/motel, it is always about CLEANLINESS! Feel confident about staying here! Thanks Lewis & Clark!
