take 1 star reviews with grain of salt I was booking a last minute hotel and checking reviews. There were some 1 star reviews complaining about this or that. I booked the Days Inn anyway as there were some good reviews. When I arrived and saw the room, clean and comfortable, had a good sleep and enjoyed a good breakfast (it wasn't a great breakfast but it was good eggs and sausage, don't want to over sell it ;) ) I realized the 1 star reviews must have been a bad day. I had no such bad experience.

Great Value This small hotel is well maintained and perfect for an overnight stay if you have business or on your way somewhere…20-30 min (depending on traffic) from Pearson Airport, it’s an economical but certainly sufficient place to stay overnight.

Toxic mould Too bad we can’t give negative stars. Checked in and was not only given the wrong room type but was given a room that didn’t lock. Was told they didn’t have to give the room booked and all of the rooms we had booked were occupied….. second room they gave us was full of visible mould. Went to the front desks again and was told they had nothing else to offer…. Called the reservation line and they confirmed there were plenty of rooms just not the deluxe rooms we had payed for. It was now 11pm and we needed to get our kids to bed. We had to settle on a small room for the night. The lady at the desk was rude and told us to take it or leave it. Unfortunately it was full of hidden mould as we were then up at 4 am with our son having asthma attacks. By 630 am we were outside in an attempt to help him breathe. The lady at the desk was helpful and got us into the room we had booked for the second night so we didn’t lose our money as we couldn’t have our son in the toxic room anymore. She even sent the cleaning people up to give it a proper clean. Unfortunately the walls in that room were so thin we had to listen to the next door neighbours having the night of their lives for hours….. save your family the hassle and toxic levels of mould and stay somewhere else. Days inn you should be ashamed to have your name on this disgusting hotel.

So happy It was $20 more than the other two low end options but I decided to steer clear of one due to poor reviews and the other because the only room available was $65 more than the listed price. I am just so, so glad I made this decision! The beds are comfortable and everything is clean and nice. It was quiet and just so perfect. I could not be happier. It looks to me like the place is new or recently upgraded. I can’t comment on the quality of the free breakfast that is included as that is yet to come. Gideon Bible in the drawer was a bonus.

Run away The staff is rude. Rooms are dirty and have huge holes on the walls. You will have difficulty to take your suitcase into your room. The breakfast area is sticky and smells. The juice is just food color in water. The toasted isn't cleaned in ages. The attended in the breakfast area will def. Give you judgey looks while you are there, even if you take single slice of bread. The front desk will lie and say they only have highest rate room, and when you book through whydham app, they will refuse to check you in for 1 hour minimum and say it doesn't show in the system. You want to see the cleanliness of the hotel. Ask to use restroom while you are there to check in. They will send you to the basement, with no direction and no lights on. You will have to find your own way and find dirty washroom. I was tired as hell and had pre paid $150 before i got to know there condition.
