If you want to pay to be treated like trash by the staff this might be the place for you! If I could give zero stars, I would. Sadly, Grand Country is not what it used to be. I hate to leave a negative review, but after failing to resolve the incident with management it is clear that they do not care about their guests, so hoping to save someone else from the same fate. If you want to pay to be treated like trash by the staff this might be the place for you! After multiple family vacations we have watched GC go downhill over the years and we are sad to say this will be our LAST visit. Do not waste your time or money on this “resort,” they ruined our family vacation and it was a HUGE waste of money. The waterpark staff are extremely rude; everything is over priced (The “packages” are just bait to get you there, once you’re there expect to spend a lot more); the rooms are small and not well kept; the water in the water park was FREEZING; we are covered in bites from bugs in the room; the shows were so bad that we walked out of the first one and chose not to even go to the second one. Do not make the same mistake we did, spend your money and time elsewhere, making happy memories with your family. We have 6 kids and all of them are going to have horrible memories of this trip.

Pool day We came on Friday to utilize the pool. It started off on the wrong foot when we walked in greeted by a crabby front desk person. We got the vibe “she hated her job”… The wave pool is freezing, not sure how they can claim it’s heated. While in the wave pool I was with my 3 year old who had a life jacket on and my 7 year old daughter. The waves were not going and our son was less than 6 ft away from me. A lifeguard stopped me saying “you need to be arms length away from him” pointing to our 3 year old. I kind of laughed and said “are you being serious right now?” he turned his back and said “read the sign”. My 10 year old and I went to go down a slide. A women lifeguard was in charge and talking to someone over the ledge… meanwhile the gentleman and his daughter trying to get into the tube are struggling. He falls out of the tube and almost sends her down by herself because he almost didn’t catch the tube. All in all, save your money. It was disappointing how disrespectful the employees where and clearly not happy at there job.

Be Prepared to Walk a Lot! Great Indoor Activity! We got a day pass for the waterpark over spring break. We had a 4 y/o and two 11 y/o. It was easily all day entertainment. There are 2 places to eat inside the waterpark and both were resonable. Pizza was $13 for a 12” and grill was about the same for burger or chicken tender basket. Food was decent. There are slides for the bigger kids and some for the littles. The lifeguards were very attentive and if your little got too far away in the wave pool they would make sure you got back together. There are 2 levels of play areas in the waterpark separated by ramp after ramp. It is definitely not grandparent friendly. Be prepared to walk alot! Also there is no way to see your kids if they are not on the same level. So keeping up with the big kids and the littles was a challenge. Seating is limited and again you can’t see to the other level from your chair. The price was a bit steep for me at $49 per adult whether you plan to swim or not. They do have plenty of towels for a quick dry off, but if you want one with substance and size bring your own. We will probably be back as the grandkids had a blast. Had a lot of fun in the basketball area!

Fun Adventure, give it a shot. There are a lot of negative reviews on Trip Advisor for Grand Country. When deciding on whether or not to stay here you need to take a lot of things into consideration. First, why are you staying? Are you in Branson for the kids? If yes, then it is a great place to stay. We were looking for a fun winter activity. There are not a lot of indoor water parks in this area, so we thought we would give it a shot. We really enjoyed our time. Are the rooms large? No We upgraded to a club house “suite”. My two year old loved it. Is the bed comfortable? I would rate it a 6 out of 10. Is the room clean? Yes, 10 out of 10. Is there a fridge and microwave? Yes, large and clean. Is there everything you need close by? Yes, I could throw a rock and hit Wal-Mart. Is this a luxury resort? No, not even close. But kids will think it is. Upgrades I think they should make: -If you are in a club house room, you probably have kids. Why are the electrical outlets uncovered? -I wish there was a net to stop littles from rolling out of bed. -When I was young, the available television options would have been great. Kids today are use to the world on demand when it comes to screens. Upgrades are definitely needed. -This is 2025, USB and Universal C chargers come on most alarm clocks. There is no way to charge my phone from the nightstand. The Water Park; -Locker rental is reasonably priced, thank you. -Parking is free, thank you. -Bring sandals, the floor is rough. -Water is not heated, I wish it was warmer, but we are here on below zero temperature days. It might be warmer when outside temps are better. -There are two large “people soup” hot tubs. They are nice, be prepared for your eyes to sting from all the chemicals. With that amount of traffic, I am sure extra chemicals are needed. -Getting to the water park is a hike no matter where your room is at, so plan ahead take everything you need. -Food options are weak for adults, but kids will love them. Needed Upgrades: -Don’t advertise free towels, then provide dish towels that are so old and thin you can read through them. -Should people put their used towels in the used towels bucket on their own? Yes, but they don’t. Maybe an employee could pick them up through the day. There were probably 100 towels thrown on the floor in the men’s bathroom. -Hot tubs need one more chemical, Foam Down. Overall, this is a great place to visit. I doubt we will be regulars. But it was a fun adventure. Thank you.

Great experience!! We had such a great time at grand country! Family of 4. A 2 year old and 13 year old. The waterpark was perfect for us to split up. My son could do all the water slides with my husband. My toddler was having a blast in the kiddie pool area. It was only like 6 in deep and she did the slide 100 times. The water was not as cold to me as some other reviews led me to believe. My teen loved the go carts. Toddler was obsessed with the arcade. We enjoyed the pizza from papa grands that came with our package. Mini golf was lots of fun. We attempted the show but toddler wasn’t interested in sitting _
