Great Time, Great Location, Great Facilities Our family of 8 adults and 4 grandkids just completed a 4 day stay at Still Waters Resort near Branson, MO. It was a GREAT time for everyone! Our rooms in building 7 were great. 2 rooms easily housed our group of 12. The private patios, seating and sleeping areas were more than adequate. We were one block from the marina and the pool area (which was GREAT) and 2 blocks from Shady Taco. The resort is laid out very well. I have to say, the chicken nachos at Shady Taco were very good! All the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, especially the crew at the marina. We rented the pontoon boats nearly everyday and were extremely impressed with them. Our rooms were extremely quiet and had nice views of the lake and marina. Our group had only a couple concerns: the cleaning staff could do a better job cleaning the rooms, especially around the doors, windows and the floors. I was surprised there wasn't a better selection of ice cream at Shady Taco. The grandkids were a bit dissapointed with that. Overall, we were all very satisfied and would definately go back!

Disapointed We love staying at Stillwater every year for last 10 years. This visit was a disappointment. Stayed in building J,2 bedroom condo. We were displeased to the condition of the room compared to previous visits. Carpet track board exposed all along kitchen/ living room. Carpet lumpy throughout. Master shower had awful mildew smell. Bath tub cracked. Toaster did not work. Next day we left the room for day to let maintenance fix all issues. Seems to be break down in communication at Stillwater as to how this room would be approved as Check In Ready for a family paying 500$ a night. We did still manage to enjoy the pools and marina amenities. Front desk did give us a discount on a future to make up for room condition. We left there feeling that management needs to put more attention to towards maintaining the rooms than trying to sell guests on a timeshare. Hopefully this review will help them improve as we love Stillwater.

Not what you expect to find We were so excited to stay at this resort because by the look of the pictures, it looked amazing. The pictures are definitely enhanced. However, it was fine. The front desk was great checking us in. Then my son went to pick up his AirPods off of the floor in the second bedroom, and instead he found 3 used condoms on the floor neat to the bed. We were horrified. Of course the immediate thought is “how well was this place cleaned.” I immediately called the desk and they sent someone to pick them up and she sprayed something on the carpet there. That was it though. I thought maybe a manager would call or come by and apologize. I was told 5 days ago, that the guest relations manager would be contacting me about this matter and I have heard nothing. I contacted them through Facebook messenger and they said I was contacted. I went through emails, phone records and there is nothing from them. I am also still waiting for the credit for doing the vacation ownership talk. All in all, our family made the best of it, but I am still horrified and completely disgusted by what was found.

I've always loved Stillwater Resort! This is probably my 5th time staying here and I have always been extremely pleased in the past. But my recent visit I wasn't as impressed. Mostly because of my room. I have always had great rooms in the past, but this time I wasn't very pleased with my room. It was a single room with a king size bed. It has to be some of the very first rooms ever built at the resort. It could use a major update for what people have to pay. Very outdated and would give the cleaning a B-. Looks to me like even the Flume pool area could use some TLC too.

Terri Hammond This place is nothing like the pictures, don’t waste your money! I rented a 2 bedroom luxury condo, lakefront. We walked into a musty smelling, dirty carpet, mold in the bathroom, broken toilet seat, ice maker didn’t work, old sheets with fuzz balls, uncomfortable bed, I could go on an on. It was our worst family vacation ever, and I’m talking in 40 years. The lounge chairs at, what they call the Oasis Pool, they were broken down and filthy. The only thing going for this place is the marina where you can rent a boat. You can rent a boat in several other locations, so save your money. I paid a premium price to stay at this place and they didn’t even offer to give us any type of refund.
