Great family mini break in a lovely hotel, I would highly recommend staying here! The whole stay down to the hotel, the spa/swimming pool, the cleanliness, the food, the rooms, the beds were so comfortable and most of all the staff were 10/10. We stayed here for two nights and would highly recommend staying at this hotel. We have travelled from London and cannot wait to visit again. The staff could not do enough for you nothing was too much trouble, what a lovely friendly welcoming staff team. We arrived early and were able to leave all of our luggage in a secure room whilst we went out to the beach until our rooms were ready. When we arrived back to check in my mum fell over her case and hit her head on the wall, the staff were absolutely amazing and tended to my mum immediately with first aid and made sure she was ok for the whole of our stay. Even after checkout we were welcome to stay and use the facilities. The cooked breakfast had lots of choice and was lovely and hot it was constantly being refilled. There was also lots of choice of different cereals, pastries, fruit and yogurts. The hotel is only 20 minutes from beaches and McArthurglen shopping outlet. The train station if you don’t drive is an 8 minute taxi journey. I and my family would highly recommend staying here.

Oh dear! Several things with this hotel, have visited many time however gone down hill. First issue check out 10am not 11am like most other hotels and check in took 40 mins as short staffed apparently.Hot tub still out of order( months) and was told by reception still waiting for it to be signed off. No robes in room like before have to pay £5 to rent them and was told come to reception in you swimsuit and we can sort you out! Yes I always wonder through hotel reception in my swimsuit. Then on to spa, as mentioned no hot tub again plus my daughter has now got an ear infection from pool and is on amoxicillin as I type. Breakfast was poor however the staff were pleasant and happy nice to see. No pastries both mornings and had to ask for a packet of hot chocolate to make a drink our selves. I think they need investment soon or it won’t last. Sad as always had good stays in the past as a friend lives in ewenny so we stayed here a lot.

Excellent Reception staff were professional and friendly. Room was very clean. Gym had just enough to keep you going. Free parking and WiFi. I requested a short extension to the check out time which was no problem. The bar was not extortionate! A lovely stay

If you like noise then this is the hotel to stay at.

Over priced - wouldn't recommend I would not usually leave a negative review, but after staying for the luxury spa package, there are a number of things we were disappointed in. Firstly the jacuzzi was out of operation and the spa facilities in general were quite unkempt. There were children using the pool outside of the children’s hours, which we hate to complain about as we have children of our own- but we were away for a relaxing break. 2 of us had our treatments carried out by a trainee with no experience and whilst we understand the need to train, you don’t expect to pay the price we did for the treatment we received And lastly, there was a party happening at the venue with very loud music meaning we could not even talk at dinner and could hear this from our rooms u til midnight All in all not a relaxing or luxury experience and so much money for what you actually get. I would not recommend
