Convenience Fee Beware of the Brookfield Embassy Suites "convenience fees". If you check in before 4:00pm they charge you $25.00. In my 20 years as a loyal Hilton member, I've never incurred such a fee. It's a total slap in the face cash grab. There lots of great hotels in this area. Go somewhere else where they respect you and your business.

Appreciated the Upgrade This is a nice place to spend the night in Brookfield. We had the luck of getting a complimentary upgrade on our room; we originally booked a 2 queen room but got a massive suite instead. The hotel spaces were relatively new and the lobby was expansive, excellent if you are coming with a large group. The beds in the suite were incredibly comfortable and there were lots of outlets in the room that were easy to access. One of our only complaints about the hotel was the lighting. The room that we stayed in was incredibly dark. The carpeting in the hotel could use a deep clean and some of the furniture throughout had been damaged. One nice touch was the soap and chapstick donated by the city. Breakfast was as expected for an Embassy and there was a soda machine/bar for drinks. A few small changes and this hotel could be truly excellent! The price of the property is actually lower than a Hampton and Tru nearby; they are newer but have fewer perks. I would recommend this property to others, especially if traveling with a larger group.

Bad Experience Embassy Suites Brookfield Red Alert. Please check your bill carefully. At checkout my bill was $217 more than what my reservation on hilton.com showed (included all local taxes). looking at bill each night was showing a rate $4-$8 more than reserved at. When I questioned the front desk clerk she blamed me and said it was because I booked through a 3rd party. Wrong, I used hilton website. she then said it was a problem with their 'system.' When I suggested I should just challenge the charge with my credit card company, she said not o. I asked how many people were getting ripped off by the problem in their 'system' and she got furious with me and claimed no one was getting ripped off. I said, if people didnt closely check their bill then they indeed were getting ripped off if there was a problem (not being fixed btw) with the hotel's system. she said she would call her manager later. I said that wouldn't be good enough for me not to dispute the charge at which point she said she wouldn't process the charge until the manager checked it out. the manager called me back and left a voice mail correcting the charges and claiming the 'system' made an error. As per the hotel stay a few things. Checked in and no welcome water for honors member. was told my status dropped from silver as I haven't done a lot of travel post covid. my 900 plus stays over the past 30 years dont count for much. When entering the room there was an awful odor. I went back to there front desk to change rooms and the clerk wanted my daughter to come down too before she would change our keys. I asked if she could just change the room/keys and I would go back and get her out of the room with all our things so we wouldn't need the old keys anymore and I would return them after we switched. You would have thought I had asked her to climb Mt. Everest. Eventually we were able to switch, but there was no apology or offer of something to compensate for the disruption. Morning breakfast was average. Eggs cooked to order was nice, but they were cooked on a greasy, dirty grill that wasn't cleaned properly so my eggs tasted like whatever previous omelet ingredients were on the grill. Evening reception isnt worth it as the 'appetizers' were stale goldfish and peanut mix only. Beverage choice was draft bud or bud light only for beer. Extra charge if I wanted something else in a bottle. the workout room switched out the lone recumbent bike for 2 pelotons. the pelotons are awful as you must register to use them and then choose from 1 of 20 'programs.' You cant just start a manual workout without listening to all the gab from the 'instructor.' The bright spot was that 1 of the treadmills was broken and when I called the next day to report it, a maintenance man showed up and had it fixed in about an hour (kudos to him, the only bright spot during our stay). I was traveling (with my grown daughter) for a funeral and to see relatives she hadn't seen in many years. I've stayed at this hotel 3 other times in the past 6 years and skipped it last year. I will now skip it forever, or at least until proper changes are made (including personnel at all levels).

You Are Truly Appreciated! When you want style, comfort, and a notch above, you'll find it here. The staff is friendly and attentive and makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. We were checked in by Sidney and during our stay Thomas at the desk was the perfect host. The room was very spacious, well-furnished and provided a comfortable suite for our 3- day stay. Everything was clean, comfortable and well above average. The fitness center was complete with all you would need for a good workout, which you will need after the outstanding breakfast each morning. Nothing like having your breakfast made-to-order, which is the norm for this hotel and very much appreciated. To top it off, you'll enjoy an evening social with complimentary drinks and snacks, and if you're lucky, Matthew will be tending bar. He'll not only serve your beverages but will be your efficient waiter should you order a meal from the restaurant. This hotel has it all with good service, comfort, fitness center, business computers, great food, and if you stay one night or two, you won't have to (or want to) leave the hotel. I give them an A+ grade and highly recommend it.

Like a high proof Rye Whiskey, a bit rough in the beginning then finishing smooth _ I was in town for a corporate training and have always enjoyed my stays at Embassy over the years. On this particular visit, I ran into a couple hiccups. They mostly had to do with housekeeping; trash not being taken out, some found their sheets had stains on them, and the heat in the front part of the suite didn't work. Coming from a hospitality background myself, I always give management a chance to respond before posting a review. Nowadays it's too easy to complain and I don't want to be that angry online guy. So I brought it to the attention of Thomas and Sydney, the front desk managers. Thomas apologized for the lack of heat and explained how the system works. It warmed up during the week so it wasn't as big of an issue. I was given a couple contacts from Sales and Marketing so I put my concerns in an email. Heather & Jessica responded the next day and circled back the day after, immediately addressing my concerns and doing what they could to offset the situation. Mistakes are human, we all make them. But when I see a team of people working in sync to try and help a guest, it shows me they genuinely care above the company's corporate mission statement. Special shoutout to Front Desk Manager Sydney! She was professional, kind, and connected with me every time I was in the lobby. I ended up enjoying the rest of my stay, I forgot how amazing their breakfast is, the Happy Hour drinks were potent and I made use of their full set of dumbbells in the fitness center! Thank you for turning this around, I wouldn't hesitate to book again!
